  1. Ugh, got crazy excited when I saw Beach Slang covering Japandroids. Not that great though :/. No personality! http://consequenceofsound.net/2016/09/beach-slang-mightily-cover-japandroids-younger-us-listen/
  2. I'll wait until whatever color is $9.99 on Prime three months from now. People haven't figured out how this works yet? Sheesh.
  3. The BK show was nuts. Greg definitely came to party. Missed 43% Burnt but Mullet into Sunshine was pretty schweet. FYI, the 7" at the show is on grey and a "limited" tour variant. Snagged an extra one for the board. PM and I'll choose someone by EOD. Would prefer if you're in the NYC so I don't have to ship it, haha.
  4. So my Mellow Gold copy from Zia is pretty warped. Anyone else have the same issue? It looks like it might have been left out in the sun - the glue actually came undone on the sleeve.

  6. Snagged a yellow. Feel like this group is going to gain some more attention as the "Stranger Things" hype continues to grow. Great show and score, btw.
  7. +1 for being at MSG last night. I also asked about the Meme 7", haha. I'm going to disagree with you on MM. Thought they had a really cool set and there was a good energy in GA. Brand New absolutely stole the show though. That was one of the better performances I've seen from them (even rivaling that Bell House show). Only disappointment was that they didn't play any of the new stuff but it was a pretty perfect set to begin with.
  8. haha there's no way that rough trade show is going to end well
  9. Expensive but boxset is dope The front is actually a shadow box.
  10. I'm also in the same boat^. Sublime is one of my all time favorites and I know I was completely taken advantage of, haha.
  11. Didn't find in a search. New Jersey's Bottomfeeder—the Gaslight Anthem drummer Benny Horowitz and members of Let Me Run, Ensign, Gates, and Jaguar Shark—are preparing to release a new EP this summer on Good Fight Music. If you like scathing melodic hardcore along the lines of Snapcase, Grade and Time In Malta, you'll instantly take to Sink To The Depths, out July 22, 2016. "After a 15 year friendship with Benny, and knowing the rest of the guys through the New Jersey scene, it was awesome to find a project to work together on. We've added a lot of awesome bands to the Good Fight family and we've been lucky to do so, but there's a special spot here for NJ's finest," says Good Fight owner and Jersey native Carl Severson. 12. Saw them @ T-Mobile (luckily was in Vegas for a wedding) and @ GovernorsBall. Still can't believe the consistency with the performance these guys put on. T-Mobile was something special but they absolutely killed it in NY. One of the most underrated American rock bands IMO.
  13. I'm not buying the whole "Cedric's sick" thing. I'd be more inclined to believe "Cedric had a tantrum and didn't show up" or "Cedric's too jacked up to perform." Regardless, the Terminal 5 cancellation was a bummer. Hope they plan to come back to NYC sometime in the near future.
  14. Woo! Will more than likely have to plan a trip out to Vegas for this.
