Pink smoke appears to be transparent wax (/300 in the US), UK baby pink is solid from what I’ve seen.

after a lot of back and forth, it looks like the VC pressing will (hopefully ) be a numbered mystery variant (similar to the recent hazy mountains release by @EHughes527) meaning each record will be a surprise hand-poured variant and no two will be alike, pricing will be $21.99

Agreed.  And I never bought a vinyl copy of this so $25 wasn't ludicrous for a variant of an album I didn't own

Their prices are reasonable.  And I have no complaints about their quality.  But I can say that about a lot of records labels smaller than Drag City that are still not cheap enough to deny people the small favor of providing them with a digital copy of the music they just bought.  I mean if you aren't going to do that I'm going to get a digital copy of the music anyway and it's not going to be by paying double price for it.   So just include it. 

I ordered a couple of hours after it was first posted on here.  I'm kind of hoping they'll remove the signed vinyl when they sell out of them.

Yeah well the only signature I got was from Joe Strummer a few months before he passed on... So I don't seek them, don't pay a premium for them, more or less because the one I got will alway trump anything else. But I feel the same as you in the end.

I mean they can be cool.  If I see an LP and a signed LP for the same price I'll get the signed LP.  But yeah won't go out of my way for one.  Cool that you got Strummers signature

I was disappointed that Vs wasn't the Deluxe version matador put out years ago or I would have pulled the trigger on that regardless of it being $35.99

I pulled the trigger on the litho version but then cancelled my order.  $50 is insane for a 4 song EP.  And the indie version gets you everything but the litho on a cooler sounding color of wax for $30 less.
 
i may end up regretting it but I'm willing to take a chance on not buying a $30 litho
