How might attitudes about this release change if say the second press ends up being on black vinyl? Will everyone's feelings about the cost change? 
*Not saying the second press will be black, but then again we don't know for sure do we?*

Right now, even though it technically isn't a "white whale", it's Oceansize's Effloresce.  There's actually a copy on Discogs right now, which is pretty rare, but it's $350.  And really, fuck that.

Still not sourced from CDs. Might sound bad but check our facts before you blast.

I scored one of my white whales today.  This is German 12" promo single for Disconnected by face to face.  There are around 5 or so copies of this out there that I am aware of.  
 
 
 

Nice collection....but spread out so much!

the only one I actually appreciate is "from a smoke free home" - as a non-smoker, I can't stand getting older records that have been sitting in someone's house getting drenched in cigarette smoke. they stink.
