  1. LP preorder…for Nov 27. Will definitely be grabbing this but I hope I won't have grown tired of it by then http://starwars.kungfustore.com
  2. About halfway through and I'm really liking it. Haven't heard a full Wilco album before and this definitely has me interested
  3. Looking forward to this! The single isn't growing on me as quickly as any of those of Bones but it should still be great

  5. Regarding speaker wire, does the copper and silver colored wire have a specific positive/negative charge plug they go with .I've read both ways, copper going with positive and the opposite, but more often I read copper as being positive. I rearranged my setup recently and noticed that the higher end sounded more distorted. I had the speaker wire as copper being positive so I switched it thinking I just did that wrong and it sounds a lot better now. But from what I've read I had it right the first time.
  6. http://www.amazon.com/Blurryface-MP3-Twenty-One-Pilots/dp/B010T34MLU/ref=sr_1_10?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1436465887&sr=1-10&keywords=twenty+one+pilots+vinyl Amazon pre-order for $28. No mention of color though
  7. Hopefully the same time as the colored/HT versions come out. I can't imagine this being limited to just those two pressings with how big they've gotten recently.
  8. Went today to try to find Mirage Rock for the sale price and of course both copies my store had were trashed and half-sealed. I did see that the Dum Dum Girls album, Too True, was reduced from $10 to $5 though. I already picked that up for the sale price last year and would highly recommend it.
  9. Pretty excited for this, especially after herring Complexity. Hopefully the price comes down from $30 before the release date too. According to Amazon it's just a single LP.
  10. It was an Ortofon Omega. I bought one pretty soon after their official site went up. I used it at that setting for while but I took a closer look at it and the body of the cartridge almost was hitting the turntable so I moved it back a bit. Maybe that cartridge is just supposed to ride that low but I'm not entirely sure. I was afraid that if a record was warped the body of it might rub against the record in some spots
  11. I know its bad to track too heavy but is it bad to track too lightly? I have the basic U-Turn Orbit and noticed that the cartridge seemed to be tracking a little on the heavier side so I adjusted the counterweight back a little bit and made sure that it was hanging straight but I don't have a scale to measure the tracking force. I was also wondering if the tacking force affects sound quality at all? Like will surface noise be more prevalent with lighter tracking and stuff like that.
  12. There's brown vinyl available here too http://shop.bandofhorses.com/products/iron-wine-ben-bridwell-sing-into-my-mouth-vinyl
  13. I'm going to stick with my amazon pre-order but will definitely pick that up if I come across it in a Barnes and Noble. This might be the first exclusive vinyl I've seen them do. It's been such a great year for music so far but this is easily in my top 3 or 4 so far!
  14. I always find those stage design videos very interesting. Pretty incredible that all that can be taken down and come together as quickly as it does.
  15. I was going to do the same but am worried about the red/black selling out and not being able to get a HT one. Is there a black pressing as well, I really don't care too much about if its colored?

  17. I've been to a few different Barnes and Nobles and have only seen the import version with Taylor Swift written out. Same with an Urban Outfitters I went to so it shouldn't be too hard to find
  18. If its a problem that will vanish once the turntable "breaks in" like they say, you could try just letting it run on 33rpm for awhile and see if the sound goes away.
  19. I'm not sure if this is what you're experiencing but when I first got mine the pulley would make a squeaking sound as it was starting up but it would go away pretty quickly and doesn't do it at all now.
