Still some cassette copies available here, shipping from Canada.  Zegema beach has a US store but all sold out from there.  The vinyl was put out by illuminate my heart records, larry records and I think one other label.

And I posted my review of the split. Feel free to hate it. Or spread the word on your social medias if you kinda like it.

Smells like Children desperately needs a reissue. I will be happy to slowly acquire all of these at great reissue prices over the next ten years though.

Dude, I would be all about it if you'd make me a sleeve for Fear Before the March of Flames' "Art Damage" picture disc that I have. I love that artwork, and I've always thought it'd look ridiculously sick with a gatefold jacket. I'll PM you!

Jesus, you guys need to get off the dude's dick. This is insanity. He's not making jack shit and is spending a pretty crazy amount of his own free time just to do something cool for VC users. It's not like the guy opened up a Big Cartel or wtfever.

That being said, to please the pussies, I can certainly contact Fear Before and give them a heads up to make sure it's cool for the 'Art Damage' sleeve. I'm be surprised if they had a problem with it. Will report back with a response.

If the original jackets weren't made in such a shit manner then this would not be necessary. Quit being titty babies.

Totally understandable, man. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I spoke to Adam of Fear Before last night after I posted that comment (sorry if I was a little harsh, guys), and he said it's totally cool to go through with everything. No plans for a repress of "Art Damage" which is a bummer for sure, but I'm stoked to get a jacket made for this hideous picture disc.

So...calling all FBTMOF fans, if anybody else wants a jacket for their copy of "Art Damage", not only has it been okayed by the band, but I'm sure Andrew would appreciate less one-offs.

Join the club or don't join the club. At $150 it's an awesome deal. Or don't and pay $20.

Moral of this story is that Pitchfork sucks, Whirr is awesome and hilarious, and the new album has some really great songs.

9.5/10 for me. Would've earned the other .5 if it was a 10 song album.

Speaking about the record of course, because live neither Nick or Loren sings, but instead Shy Ronnie.

So what's the deal with this? Did they take a photo out of sheer excitement, and then realize that someone fucked up when they sat down to assemble them? How do you not realize that they're only a third of the size they should be? I agree that there must've been a huge lack of communication – I can't say I've ever heard of this happening in all the time I've been buying vinyl.

There had to have been a massive lack of communication to print CD size covers, and not LP covers, or even 7" covers.  Lol.

That cover does look like a 7" cover, but they said they're using them for CD covers.

I thought this might be worth sharing, kind of a cool story.

So I told my buddy about Whirr a few months back, and he got into them pretty quickly. Ended up going to the San Diego show (I live in the Chicago area), and I asked if he'd pick me up one of the /25 posters. Figured they'd be gone, but worth a shot. I guess he ended up talking to Nick Bassett and got one which is awesome. I'm not certain how exactly this came about, but I'm guessing my friend mentioned that I had turned him onto Whirr or something and that I was dealing with some rough shit at the moment - my dog just passed away last week, and that's been heartbreaking to say the least. Not to get all morbid or anything - but a friend also passed away in the same week, so it's been heavy to say the least.

Anyway, I got this poster in the mail today (along with a setlist), but didn't realize what was on the back right away. I'll just post the pictures to tell the rest of the story. Truly shows how genuine the Whirr dudes are - they did not have to do this at all. My friend said he didn't ask them to write anything at all, so it seems to have been done on their (Nick's) accord. I just think it's pretty fucking special. Might seem 'whatever' to some people, but I figured I'd post regardless.

To clarify, my dog's name was Tess/my name is Alex. I wish I could frame both sides of this. Must figure something out...

Also, anybody notice that it says #1/25 on the front, but on the back it says #1/100? Accident maybe? I honestly couldn't care less about the 'limited' aspect - it's one of a kind to me. One of the most thoughtful, random yet perfectly timed gifts I've ever received. I'll back Whirr forever, no doubt about it.

tl;dr my dog passed away, my buddy grabbed me a poster in SD, and Nick from Whirr wrote a message on the back. says a lot about the dude/band as a whole vs. their online troll persona.
