Thank you all for this thread. Annoyed that only bundles were left, I signed up for an email alert just in case... and I got one! Even after a solid 8 hour shift, single LP was available when I got home, just bought it. Still seems to be up, for now.

I have been shipping for a few years now and have always regarded those cardboard squares as a big waste of money.
If you buy a lot of records, usually you'll receive a ton of mailers. Those that can't be reused, I have one of those big handle paper slicers - I cut em 12 by 12 and recycle the scraps. They're not always pretty but I can tell they stop shifting just as well as "standard' ones. Just fill the space. This is especially useful if you use amazon prime and get one record at a time.

I obsessively keep track of all my paid orders, spreadsheet style. I've had to call out some never received. I'd like to  set it and forget it but it's not possible, now that I have literally thrown money into a void, I have to be vigilant.
Probably wouldn't happen with Frank Ocean. Probably.

When most of the vapor vinyl happens to come from countries other than the US, the group buys are definitely welcome. I'm actually a little shocked one guy took it upon himself to round up buyers, contact labels, collect payments correctly and pack up 30 records every so often, simply because he wants to spread it out. Maybe he gets a free record or something but in any case I applaud all his effort.

if it wasn’t for the group buys, there would be little to no discussion in here so I dunno what all the crying is about.
@EHughes527 goes out of his way to plan these and doesn’t have to at all. it’s not like he’s making money off it, if anything, he’s using up his own free time to pack, ship, and communicate with labels so people can have a chance at a better price for vinyl that is typically quite expensive.

What OP needs to do is focus on a few, hand curated titles focusing on the customer’s unique taste and then send those out automatically every month so they can spin them on their Crosleys and post pictures in Instagram.

Right, but my main marketing plot will be customer service that is more personalized and catered towards DVD enthusiasts. I know personally when I shop online for movies I want to rent from someone who knows what they're doing. The plan for this idea isn't to grow this into chains across the country. My goal is to layout a spot where you can browse through an extremely user friendly website and read customer reviews from other film enthusiasts and even contact one of the owners to discuss movies you like and different recommendations for the customer. 

I'm a firm believer that if you pay for an album in any physical form you are entitled to it digitally in any format you desire forever.

The vinyl's a lot more muted than the mockup which is probably for the best - translucent gold w/ ocean blue splatter is totally fine, cuz that ain't no teal. The cover clearly has teal. But as you can see much more clearly @TheDuke that this is not what is associated with Wax Mage /25 specialty designs.

I haven't received that one yet but wasn't it said that this one, like Nomad Eel, were pressed by Gotta Groove but weren't the signature wax mage lookin records? The only ones I knew of were the RAINN Charity one and Ethereal's. I did get Nomad Eel and it wasn't that type.
