For me it was one of those albums that I wasn't blown away with on first listen but as I kept listening my "fav track" jumped around to the point where more than half of the songs have become my favorite track at some point. It's a grower, for sure.

First you need to figure out what a piano sounds like and then we can go from there.

I think the quality of the music has already been discussed quite a bit, for a couple of months now. It's been out digitally and on cd/standard vinyl for a while. The more pertinent conversation at the moment is about defects in the deluxe versions that have now starting shipping out. It's not ridiculous that people are interested in if their copy is going to arrive with problems or not. No need for people to keep being snarky.

Mine arrived today, as well. Everything is beautiful, nothing is hurt.

Finally getting to spin my copy. On Mexican War Streets and so far this pressing sounds outstanding. Will be keeping this on the platter for quite a while.

Yeah, they should have just done 1,500 180g black and called it a day.

I don't own the 4th album yet, but it's super easy to find, thankfully. Is it cool if I post this? Wish I had bought the deluxe but I didn't/don't have the money. Standard will do! Best of luck to everyone with their deluxes. I hope you all get them intact.
 

Got the deluxe in yesterday in almost perfect condition and thought it would be a good time to put these all on the shelf above my turntable and records.

**RECAP ON INSERT - OPTION FOR 11X17 FOLDED OR 11X11 SQUARE**
 
Alright, so I had some thoughts on a simple insert that I could provide the files for, and you could print out anywhere you like for less than $2.
 
I was thinking something that is a standard 11x17" GLOSS PAPER that you would fold in half.  File would be printed in black and white to stay on theme, and keep costs down.
 
One side has all of the lyrics, and the very important dedication to Timothy Jordan II that is SOMEHOW LEFT OUT of this.  (unreal)
 
The other side is a take on the tunnel pic inside the original liner notes, and used for the album art from "The EP" - this is not the same tunnel, but just an idea inspired from that.  It then features the line from the end of Timothy - "Take me back to where I was before I was born."
 
Since anywhere you take this to for printing would not be able to do full bleed, I kept everything with a white background, and textures that do not bleed over the edge.  Nothing would have to be fit to page, nothing would have awkward print lines around the edges, and as I said before, cheap, easy, and sharp.

NOTHING is used from the original layout, nothing is stolen from the original artist.  Since I would just be providing the print files needed to print this, there would be no money exchanging hands, so I can't imagine this being anything that would get anyone in trouble, just something to enhance a product alot of us care about so much.

People were asking for a square option - this is the same idea as the top one, except at the shop you would just ask for a double sided black and white on gloss, and then have them cut it to an 11x11 square - this would be placed in a template with cut lines so it came out looking sharp if you went with this option!

The square one has all of the credits from the album included as well, both have the album dedication, and both should look sharp and simple.

Hey Mike Almquist from mewithoutYou here. If you have damaged or missing parts, just contact [email protected] and I will help you try and get replacements. Unfortunately the plant seems to have taken less care than we would have. We've only had about 8 or 9 people hit us up so far. We should have enough overprinting resources to cover everyone. Hopefully this problem isn't too widespread, but we want people to be happy with the product they paid $50 + shipping for. Not much I can do abou the missing Dorothy lyrics though.

According to the band manager on Reddit,
 
"There is a very specific reason why its on there. The track has an internal name but you can just call it Guitar Instrumental."
 
Someone on Reddit made an interesting observation,
 
"I love it. It's very reminiscent of a previous album track. Since Aaron writes the lyrics, we hear him dealing with the death of his father throughout the album whereas Mike doesn't have the same platform. I see this as Mike's way of working through similar emotions musically."

Charlie Wagers (the dude who designs a lot of their merch) just posted a pic of the deluxe package on Instagram

I never thought it would look anything like the mockup but I figured maybe some kind of rainbow swirl/smash at the least, not a tricolor with splatter. How they landed on that is...interesting. That newer photo definitely looks better but I've just never been a fan of red/yellow/green together, or tricolors for that matter, but wtfever. Happy it didn't turn out to be a Glassjaw 'Coloring Book' situation. 

picked mine up yesterday, not the clear though. with the demand for T&N to start doing more vinyl releases you would think they would want to get it right from the start and not do it half assed.
