I really can't stand how he won't just sell a damn record and has to bundle it with a t-shirt or some other useless stuff every single time. Especially since his shirts are always paper thin and white or cream colored so if it doesn't get stained within two weeks it'll definitely get a hole in it. 
 
Loved Ohio and Teenage Rockstars is still better than most of Zombies on Broadway (just wasn't into much of that album, though Fire Escape was awesome), so this is a pre-order for sure, just wish I could get it from him instead of Amazon.

I don't think its a criticism of collectors in general more just a criticism of the attitude that the guy feels he deserves one as a result of his previous collecting habit or that they shouldn't have done it at all to save them from going to non variant collectors. Ultimately doing an under 200 run on a variant for a band this size was bound to ruffle feathers as inevitably people who got lucky may not be "ultra fans" and many non completists who get their hands on this would inevitably wind up flipping it because of the crazy prices the after market is producing. I mean if I got a record that I already own that people were willing to pay 500 bones for free of charge I'd have a hard time justifying not selling it.

I feel for those of you who missed out because it is undoubtedly annoying when you have one missing piece from a complete set but ultimately a band you love did something nice here, the idea that your collection being incomplete is an injustice is silly. I'd wager everyone on here has missed out on at least one item and felt the frustration of exorbitant after market profiteering. It goes with the territory of collecting. Being disappointed that a band even made this little special thing just because it disrupts your complete collection is just petty. 

Your other option is to not buy everything that has a band's name all over it, and save your hard earned money. I'll never understand why "variant collectors" feel compelled to keep dropping cash on ridiculous numbers of pressings. There's way better things in life to spend your money on (or not spend it at all).

I really hate it when unpolished bands get better and make songs that resonate with more people.  I wish they just stayed in their garage and made mix tapes so I was one of only a few people that ever got to hear them.  That would be cool....

With his first solo album, he didn't have his store's variant available online until after his tour was over. That's when he put up what was left after pre-orders and tour merch sales. So you may be waiting a bit. 

Got this in the mail a few days early! I like the album, I think it's stronger than the first solo outing overall. Not all that impressed with the pressing, though. I think it's pretty off center so there's a lot of wow and flutter at the end, the last song is a quieter one and sounds like garbage.

I take offense that you assume my compass is just "lying around" I use that sucker daily!

Jacket and sleeve seam rips happen ALL the time. I buy a lot of vinyl as most of you do, and it happens to me all the time. It's just one of those things you deal with when buying records. It's just something that happening in transit sometimes whether or not he record is packed properly. At HT we get in huge shipments of records directly from the plants and even those sometimes show up with jacket splits. 
When you order direct from the label they can sometimes replace the jacket if needed as they usually end up with extras. Retailers just get full finished goods, there are no extra jackets to send out. Sorry guys.

Got mine yesterday and haven't had a chance to listen, but I'm excited.
My 7"s: Somos/Have Mercy split, and Heks Orkest - Endless Scroll
12"s: Meridian - The Cathedral, and The Felix Culpa - Thought Control EP
I can't say much as I haven't listened to them yet, but I will say you guys may want to word things a bit better next time, as the product page stated two LPs and two 7"s... to me an "LP" is a full length album, and a 12" EP doesn't really count just because it's the same size. I'm sure it's great and I'm not going to throw a fit as I think this package was a really great value, but I just think an EP in place of an LP is kind of disappointing, but maybe I'm just being pedantic.
Honestly, though, I am excited to listen to this stuff. I've really liked the tidbits I've had time to check out on YouTube and such.

And the commonly accepted definition of LP is a full length album, so no, it wasn't "obvious". If it had been a 12" single would we be having this conversation?
