I've done this quite a few times and made some bad decisions. I also feel obligated to pick up vinyl by opening bands I've never heard of cause I want to support touring bands pressing more vinyl.

I want to know around how much you've invested into your vinyl collection and around how many vinyl you have in total.
I have around 42 and I've spent around $900-$1,000.
Too many limited edition vinyl bought on eBay..

Missing one variant of Hot Damn! and Gutter Phenomenon, the black box set, and tests of Hot Damn!, The Big Dirty, New Junk, and Ex-Lives. Pretty close to complete.

And...Who cares if he makes a few dollars? I never understand when people thinking it's free to run to the record store and free to run to the post office and free to put tape on it or print out a new label or that my time is worth nothing.
If he makes a dollar or two who cares? He's still helping someone out.

mine is coming today... wasn't supposed to come till the 27th and then it got moved till today... and I live in New Jersey, so go figure.

Oh, I'm sorry if it came out as though I'm complaining, I know USPS prices have gone up, and I really do prefer to pay a little extra buck or two to make sure the package arrives safely and securely as Joe always deliver the records I buy from him.
 
I didn't mean to make it sound like I'm complaining, I just wanted to say that it is better for me to buy 2 and pay ~$11 shipping for each, so I did it happily without the slightest of hesitation

I think we can all agree that regardless, Band tees is a dumb place to keep vinyl. I especially like seeing what my record would "Look good with".

Actually, resellers would become familiar with the format as they repeat the process, whereas fans of various artists that don't frequent the site will be at a disadvantage. So it would actually aid resellers.

Bold move saying you bought two copies on this board. Some might cause a stink because people like to bicker on here. I hope not too
Many VC folk miss out on this. It's 1am here in LA and 4am in NY - I doubt they will sell out in the next few hours but I hope most are able to get one before they do. Good on you for being willing to sell to someone who misses out.
