Only recently back on the site and seen I made this post. It's amazing how huge this band is now, what a difference 5 years makes...

FYI. I got my Dopamine today shipped from Banquet Records, UK. 180gram white as advertised on the 3eb webstore, so I imagine there is only one variant of this. Made in Czech Republic, I can't immediately tell if it's GZ or XVinylX or other.
 

I received my copy in the mail yesterday. The record sounds and looks awesome. It has a couple corner bends but thats to be expected when shipping that far in light weight packaging. 
 

But the copy on Amazon is a gorgeous 2xLP remaster, gatefold, and comes with amazon auto rip. That's a fucking deal, my friend.

It came in today in luckily perfect condition. This thing looks quite hilarious on my indie/emo/smiths/whatever shelf. 

Artists,titles, prices, condition, feedback,etc. all of these would be helpful things people would want here...

It's been one year since I got the vinyl bug and it doesn't appear to be going away any time soon. Right away I could see my spending getting out of hand and we had just started the Dave Ramsey budget plan. This of course made things tricky but it made me very careful what I buy, and more importantly how I buy.
I discovered Discogs pretty quickly and found out it was very easy to set up and sell from. Each week I'd come home with a few garage sale scores to list for sale. As an Amazon Prime member, I not only learned how to search for bargain LP's, I made sure I ordered one at a time so I could keep the packing material (never once have I purchase a shipping box). 
Another help was buying two copies of any limited/variant editions and selling one to basically pay for my copy or at least make it very cheap.
All in all it's gone pretty well and I've tracked all my purchases/sales in the "You Need A Budget" (YNAB) app on my iPhone. Since last June, my out of pocket expense is about $800 and I've got about 400 records. The other good news is I just finished logging them all in Discogs and according to recent sale info, my collection at the low end is at $3400 on the low end and $9500 on the high. Anything used I own is VG+ or better and of course the new stuff is all NM.  While I'm a bit over budget on a monthly basis overall since last June, I've still managed to get a heck of a collection for a relatively low outlay.

This is a great suggestion.  Still holds up, IMO.  That said, it HIGHLY UNLIKELY you'll find it in the dollar bin.

He probably rode his motorcycle into the pressing plant, turned a chair around, sat on it backwards, stared at the plant manager for a few minutes in silence, said "Here's how it's going to be.  You're gonna let us press our records here and the price is going to be [x amount]," then left and was never heard from or seen again.  Then the band hired a fulfillment service to handle all their merch a few weeks later.

Third Eye Blind can poop in a bucket and I'd buy it. New song rips.

Really like this album, so if you don't care what variant / when you get it, we'll eventually have it in the distro at some point.

Participating indie record stores will have a free slipmat with vinyl purchase while supplies last.

yeah so welcome to VC, OP. have you looked at Discogs or Popsike? If there's none for sale you can at least check rough prices.

Yep! We got the records in early and have been shipping out pre-orders all week long. I am extremely happy with how everything came out, from the vinyl itself to the quality of the sleeve, insert, etc. — I hope everyone else loves it too!

Is anyone else bugged by the fact that the cover art is sideways? The opening is at the top and the spine with the text is on the bottom. I also have a tiny seam split on the spine of post that goes right across the text. Those mailers are not much better than an envelope.

Just got these (AgB, ( ) ) both in today then read this post so decided to document the tracks as I go through. Only have time for ( ) tonight:
 
A1-3 crystal clear
B1 - a bit shaky in the right channel throughout, though parts of the track sound great.
B2 - really crisp even at the quiet start and end 
 
C1 - rough in the right channel, particularly when the song starts ramping up, this sounds spectacular when it really kicks in, however you can tell the noise is still lingering in the background
C2 - beautiful when quiet, when that noise kicks in doe :/ painful, dreadful, gah
 
D - the rumor mill is true, there is something not right here either, a bit squirly in the quieter parts when he's doing those icelandic howls or whatever they are, nowhere near as bad as C2. The end is a quasi-distorted mess (although I actually kinda dig what the fault has caused here) entirely listenable and enjoyable
 
If you're not in a rush to have this I would definitely give it a pass and see if the US press resolves some of these issues. For me I'll be keeping it as I got it at the cheaper price, C2 is the only extremely distorted track, but that happens to be my personal least favourite on the album anyway.
