as some one that owns mista thug isolation on vinyl. I'm happy to see that its not included in this set and only the cassette is. 

it makes mine feel more pretty :-3 and it wasn't listed as being part of it. they announced what each LP is essentially. and Mista thug is 2 LP's

I think what birdwell is saying is this: you don't have to constantly tell people how bad their turntable is. Let 'em be. Gets on my nerves as well.

Show me statistics on how quickly a crosley wears out the groove on a record versus a properly set up TT that costs a grand....technically every time you spin your records this happens, I'd be willing to bet a great deal of people who have spent over $500 USD on a TT mishandle their records or don't clean them properly or regularly as well....
Again, I'm quite happy with my setup, but I'm certain it could be nicer and I'm certain I need a new stylus on my TT as well....probably not QUITE as bad as a crosley stylus, but it's still not great for my records.
Also, how many plays are you looking to get out of your records??? There are records you can find a thrift store that have been spun hundreds of times on poorly set up turntables for decades that still play fine after a decent cleaning...
Some people would rather have 500 records to choose from and a cheap Crosley or Ion USB TT for playback....some people would ether have 10 records and a really nice playback system. Quit acting like snobby fucks because their playback set up didn't cost $5,000.....I guarantee if they played their copy of Reinventing Axl Rose 50 times on their Crosley and swapped it with your copy that's been played 50 times on your $500 TT without you knowing you wouldn't flinch for a second when that needle dropped

This isn't my storage area but I recently had a friend build me a shelf/box type thing to hold my 7" records. I drew up the design idea which was cool to see him bring it to life. Really looks slick in person, beautiful wood and craftsmanship. Photos below:

Just moved into my new apartment.  This is my first time having my records in the living room, as they used to always be in the bedroom.  I think I'm liking them out here more.

Found locally. So happy.

I built this room in my basement from bare concrete up. I still would like to add a couple more posters and some lighting over the player but overall I'm pretty happy with the results. I love having the guitars on the wall! Sorry couldn't get good pics with my cell.

I dug up my old Slowdive shirts from my parents' garage. Much to my surprise, they were still in good condition.
 

 

 

I think you need to be reminded, all of us "established labels" were not born with this info we've figured out by trial and error AND advice from other people who run labels.
so who's to say that any other label started with this information will not go on to get "significant distribution"?

i am shocked & delighted by how much interest this getting!  I have been trying to get this done for 2 years & is finally in the final stages of artwork layout.  I will post updates as things progress but the variants on this one are going to be awesome, one thing that we have never done before so I am really excited to see how they come out.

Most definitely a boot.  I'm in the process of saving up for a better record player as well.  This one is fine for the most part, but I've had it for a while and would still like something a little nicer.  I luckily get a good discount on players through the shop I work at, so it won't be too long until I can upgrade!

Also...not vinyl, but still solid. Interpunk had a sale where all YM and YL shirts were only $3. Since my 3-1/2 year old son is built like a 5 year old, he will now have a much better wardrobe for preschool:
