Those Numero Group sets look so good all next to each other.

How about instead of grabbing as many as you can you just take 1 of what you want (and I mean actually want) and let someone else in the queue behind you have a stab at it too?
Really starting to intensely dislike the whole RSD concept, or more what it's become

Anyone that's located in Milwaukee, we will have a handful of these available at The Exclusive Company (1669 N. Farwell Ave). Definitely my favorite release that's coming out for BFRSD this year. These turned out great.

We haven't pressed this in a number of years so this time around we gave it the deluxe treatment. Hundreds of rare photos, flyers, a bunch of the WNYU songs that haven't been formally released, and a 7" of the demo songs.
2xLP on Yellow vinyl (with black 7") housed inside a gatefold jacket (the jackets we used in the 2004 version were awful).
Pick it up on 11/27 for Black Friday. We just posted a list of participating stores on our website.

Found a dude with a primo metal collection that he's selling off, everything in impeccable condition, all original pressings. I'm waiting for all of these to arrive, and I'm sure there will be more. I have zero control.

A work in progress. Ikea file folder/shelving units. I took the front doors off and installed pine dividers (screwed through the top) so there wouldn't be too many records left to right. Still would rather have front facing storage but I'm not crafty enough to build one and don't want to spend the $500 on a bin. Found a local guy who sells wine crates for $7-9. Unfortunately the small crates are about 1/2" to narrow so I had to use the longer ones sideways. Not the most efficient but it's convenient.

Just bought a house in Nashville, finally have everything in order. My record shelf is a piece that my grandmother gave me that she used to store her VHS tapes in, so stoked on it with my collection inside. The Victrola in the corner isn't currently working (my Mom's best friend was going to throw it away). So I turned it into a bar and will get it fixed when I get some extra cash.

VIO-LENCE "Eternal Nightmare" DOUBLE LP - Coming November 13th!
Available on vinyl for the first time since it's original 1988 release and appearing in its entirety for the first time ever, in any format, the legendary debut album from East Bay thrash metal legends VIO-LENCE has been remastered with five bonus tracks added. Includes the previously unreleased album version of “Torture Tactics” - intended to be the eighth track on the album but omitted from the original release by MCA because of the extreme lyrical theme! Additionally, the band’s legendary four track “Mechanic” Demo is presented in its entirety and for the first time ever on vinyl.
VIO-LENCE "Eternal Nightmare" Double LP will be in stores starting November 13th. You can pre-order it here:

I'm glad we're finally talking about this band again because their last album was very underrated and is actually one of the top 5 nu-gaze records of the last 15 years. If anyone has a hand poured pink with yellow splatter /50 or a Buns n' Guns cassette tape (the one with the little drawing of a pig wearing a chef's hat on it), I will give you .75 cents each shipped.

PSA: Just because the band did something shitty doesn't mean that everyone who is selling Whirr records will be looking to unload the records that they paid $20+ for for $5.

I really love Whirr so anyone willing to send me their albums for cheap let me know. Great band, excellent songs.

I moved into a new place, so naturally I had to get a whole new setup. Ikea Nornas shelves and I plan on building some thing for cassettes to hang in the middle.

I.N.O. is so good – basically on par with everything they've done. You'll really enjoy it.
I don't know if they're up for sale quite yet.

The Sermon is so dope.
Yeah, you know it's the best music ever made because finding an unplayed copy is like finding the Loch Ness Monster.

Cool titles. That is the really difficult thing about collecting old jazz and soul. Your hopes all high when you see the cover and then sadness when you look at the pavement frisbee. On the flip, you can't beat that feeling when all the stars align and you get the great cover and record.

I don't think Steve Hoffman posters even enjoy music. It's about the process for them.

I'm on that forum, too, and there are far too many posters who focus solely on the audiophile aspect of record collecting and not enough on the actual music. I'm a Music Matters subscriber, and I've yet to have any problems with their releases.
