When I bring stuff to get signed i only bring the jackets and I keep them in a mailer. Sometimes it'll stay in the car until after the show, depending on the venue.

At least this idiot is upfront about it. 90% of discogs prices are insanely wack and if you contact them asking to deal they all say the same thing his description says. "Look I know this record is worth $60 but I love it so I don't want to sell it, but I'm listing it at $500 because if someone wants to pay that, then that's cool."

I can't speak for everyone else, but I've had various individuals help me out with obtaining RSD exclusives, every year.  It's a great feeling to wheel and deal records within the community, and avoid eBay as much as possible.  There's always a thread to arrange the requests and establish who wants what, but I've yet to see one this year.  Instead of cluttering up the actual RSD release thread - which should probably be used to discuss new releases - feel free to post your requests here.  I doubt I'll be able to physically partake in RSD this year... but if I can pull some strings and make it happen, I'll be game to pick up anything this year.  There's not much I want at all.

This is a crappy unpopular band jumping on the back of a popular bands song playing it note for note hoping to gain some public exposure along the way. Except in this case it doesn’t work because their version is much, much crappier. Why would I listen to this crappy version when I could just as well listen to the much better original version?
 
IMO a great example of a quality “cover” is The Atari’s Boys of Summer, who don’t just “copy” the song and actually make their own stylized new sounding version. Smooth Criminal by AAF is another good example. The songs sound redone, covered. And it’s because people actually PREFER their new style of the song over the originals, that’s why The Atari and Alien Ant Farm versions got so much airtime.
 
This is just a crappy band trying to hope they get face time by playing a popular Brand New song and putting their name on it. 

Not when I can get the regular version for $13ppd on Amazon. Not gonna pay an extra $17 for transparent green. I'd rather buy another record with that money.

I think we all need not pretend that we don't do pretty much the same thing (to varying degrees) when we get an album in the mail. Most of us just don't film it for the internet.

Just waiting on Universal to tell me if/when I can get more copies pressed of both S/T and TOYPAJ splatter.
Hoping to have an answer very soon.

Impose just posted some videos from our release show in December. Thanks for all the support thus far everyone, means a lot to me.
