  1. honestly I debated when it came out in October, but after it sold out in days I've been waiting for it to get back into stock. this is likely one of the few presses of an incredibly popular modern musical with a rabid fan base, the price is expensive but I'm not sure you'll get the opportunity to buy this again in the near future. cheaper than a ticket to the show at least? apparently this is being pressed by DECCA as well, so the quality should be very good
  2. http://www.wickedthemusicalstore.com/featured-products/10th-anniversary-vinyl.html wicked vinyl back up. picked it up immediately. I was regretting missing the october release, not going to make the same mistake twice.
  3. to be fair, this is not just 12 songs from the movie. The material in this edition encompasses the original songs as sung by the cast members, a full orchestral score, and then another 12 or so tracks with the original creator/writer of the music as well as 5 songs that were cut from the movie. So, while 75 is still a bit much, I think you can justify it. I'm on the fence ordering it myself, love this movie
  4. Start with The Earth is not a cold dead place, and let nature take its course after that.
  5. OP: I highly recommend the classic belle and sebastian releases. If you're feeling sinister sounds incredible if you get the latest reissue
  6. picked up the split. That "dig" song sounds excellent. Like Hum meets smashing pumpkins
  7. unlike most of you, this will be my first vault purchase. the description indicates that the B-sides are... The b-sides consist of covers of some of Detroit's most pre-eminent artists in 2003: "Good to Me" written by Brendan Benson and Jason Falkner and originally released on Benson's 2002 album Lapalco. / "Who's to Say…" written byDan Miller and released by his outfit Blanche in 2003 on their album If We Can't Trust the Doctors… / "St. Ides of March" written by the Soledad Brothers and released on their self-titled album of 2000. / As well as a White Stripes live medley of "I Fought Piranhas / Let's Build a Home" recorded at the legendary Electric Lady Studios in New York. Each of these tracks has been remastered from the original analog sources, and in the case of "…March" and "Piranhas" where there were no analog masters, we used only the finest digital files that could withstand sitting unused on a hard drive for over ten years. The artwork on all the singles has been tidied up, spell-checked and given that special Third Man "je ne sais quoi" sounds like unreleased and rare material to me?

  11. i'd buy the heck out of glass handed kites too. Mew is woefully hard to get on vinyl.
  12. pre ordered immediately. one of the greatest winter albums ever recorded. wow. when is the pre order going up?
  13. sound quality is excellent on my copy. Sounds like a Breaking Bad themed Boards of Canada album. Highly recommended.
  14. this is back in stock at the sky ferreira myplaydirect store. http://www.myplaydirect.com/sky-ferreira/night-time-my-time-vinyl-digital-album-bundle/details/29080747 just picked up a copy, cheers
  15. any idea where to get another? girlfriend loves wicked and this would be an excellent addition to the collection
  16. can't believe that after all these years, nobody has issued Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind on vinyl. One of my favorite scores ever - actually, there seems to be a dearth of Jon Brion soundtracks on vinyl. I can already dream of the deluxe 2LP package... also - has The Royal Tenenbaums ever had a vinyl release? seems like there would be a market to release some of these modern classics
  17. it'll probably show you the order number once waxworks actually emails you
