To me, New Wave sounded like a horribly produced punk album, while White Crosses was a fully intentionally done radio rock album.
 
Neither sniff Reinventing or Eternal Cowboy in terms of energy or emotion.

American Slang is practically unlistenable for me.  I'm glad they've limited the album to 2-3 songs live.
 
Senor and the Queen is my favorite material of theirs, overall.

Definitely weaker than the last two years.  I assume they're holding some of the excitement until ticket purchase time.

Based on some of the recent reunion bands, I'm hoping for The Loved Ones, Bigwig, Movielife, or the Get Up Kids.

That's a pretty good comparison. That Oso Oso ep is really underrated, in my opinion. I listen to that more than I do State Lines.
And you'd think with me only being around 3 hours away from Richmond, that I'd be able to catch them in some capacity. Having obligations is a real bummer sometimes.

I'll be honest (and this is coming from someone who really really likes Sundials), I don't really see the Alk3 connection here.
 
I have a hard time describing Sundials to others for that reason.  Fuzzy guitars? Indie? IT'S JUST GOOD GO LISTEN!

Through Being Cool, Can't Slow Down, Stay What You Are. There are no other albums that I recognize besides The Ups and Downs b-side comp.

I was really bored last night so I made a grid for Friday's schedule (based on what has been released so far). Made it a lot easier to pick out conflicts. I might do one for Saturday/Sunday too.

I hadn't listened to this album in years.  Put it on today because of this thread and immediately started remembering all the hallucinogens I took while listening to this in high school.

My point was that if you want to be Mariel and the Candy Hearts that's fine, but don't have the same expectations for how you are treated relative to the way that Red City Radio are treated.

Enema of the State was 5x platinum. Self-Titled/TOYPAJ went double platinum.
 
FUTCT was FOB's best selling album (by far) at double platinum and still took a decent amount of time to sell out 1,000 copies of a first pressing at Hot Topic.  Infinity on High isn't in the same ballpark as Enema of the State.
