The real question is will Bootsy return for this incarnation of Bucketheadland?

I heard on an earlier Buckethead thread here that Ion Records will be pressing Bucketheadland 2 on vinyl sometime this year since they have the rights to it.

Buckethead Pikes customer service said they are not sure if other albums will get pressed but said it is most likely to happen

I think it depends on presale. EMAC has a cut off date unlike Crime Slunk Scene.

Everytime I see this bumped I hope its for the following:
1) Machina reissue
2) new album info
3) OG lineup dates

Someone pointed out that Amazon's listing has a March 3rd date cited, so you'll probably hear more information as that date draws closer.  Since a lot of people seem to care about this reissue, this thread will likely be bumped the moment a release date is murmured anywhere on the web.  You can read the posts pointing out that February 10th has come and gone, and all the subsequent replies after it – there aren't that many – and determine that no one has any information to share.  Or least, I'd like to assume you could determine that, if you really wanted to.  I understand that you're new to the boards, but rest assured that no one discusses release dates in private messages with the sole intent of keeping everyone else out of the loop.  When there is info, it'll be posted in this thread.  And probably several times over.

I asked SRC on twitter if they were going to press this and they liked it soooooooo I, too, will pass and wait for the less expensive option with the better color option

Records are a stupid investment. A repress (exceptions for a few bands) will majorly devalue your items. Almost everything will have an eventual repress. A smart asshole would go for a quick flip. Buy records because you enjoy them or get out.

Why do people think Tom is in it for the money? If that was true, he could write some pop punk songs and cash in on Blink. He hasn't done this. Mark and Travis claim they want to preserve the "legacy" but they have kicked out the longest standing member in a very public way. They also plan to continue playing shows without Tom as Blink, but somehow Tom is the one who's in it for the money?
 
This release is obviously a big fuck you to Mark and Travis from Tom. Back when Boxcar Racer started Mark was freaking because he thought the label was asking Tom to go solo. This is Tom saying "you're gonna kick me out? Well, I don't need you guys" not to mention The Dream Walker was the best thing Tom has done post-blink.
 
Mark has teased numerous solo projects and collaborations including a children's album with Matt Skiba but very little music if any? has been released from Mark. Tom has put out multiple AVA albums and various projects in that time.   
 
Do I wish they could sort their shit out and we could get blink-182 back? Yes. Will that happen? Doubtful. Mark and Travis should have continued with +44 and let Tom do his own thing...
