Ok, concerning the Songs for a blue Guitar, I picked it up at my local shop last Friday, anyone else get one that sounds terrible? Mine has hiss and static throughout the entire first record?, sounds almost like its extremely dusty or dirty. I didn't even try the second yet, it sounded so bad I didn't have the energy. Yes, I gave it a cleaning prior to spinning it

Yeah it's disappointing, when you see it in person it's quite obvious it's a boot. The color is really off on the cover very over-saturated, almost like someone applied an instagram filter to it. Beck really annoys me, I read an interview several years ago about how he hates how artists cash in on continually pushing out reissues and he doesn't like it, however his fans are paying a fortune for unapproved, unofficial and not to mention poorly made bootlegs. I was at hmv a few years ago and they just got the MOFI Sea Change in, it was 44.99 and my girlfriend got mad that I was going to buy it, she said it was too much. I snuck back the next day and got it. 2 months later they had 3 of them in their sales bin at 60 percent off.
