Anyone else from the states order from drift records in the uk? I got a shipping notification and realized my phone had autocorrected the zip code of my shipping address. THe folks at drift were super nice and told me they'd hold another copy for me if mine never shows up (usps probably can't figure it out) or if it never gets sent back to them being they can't get a tracking. Just want to get an approximate day these might arrive so I can check at my post office and try and intercept it before it gets shipped back.

Um, $75-100 for a 3LP set? No thanks. I'll pay at most $50, because more than that is just inflated prices. We're talking about 2 albums and a 5 song EP. I wouldn't even care if they were colored or black. These are records that came out so long ago, I've completely forgotten about them at his point. I support this, but to me your suggested price is an exploitation. If they came with demos or whatever? Then sure, that price might be worth it. Also not trying to sound like a huge prick, I just don't understand how you arrived at $75-100. So to comment correctly:
I would pre order 1 at $50.

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, is having its soundtrack pressed to vinyl through SRCVinyl. The pressing is going to be limited to 1,500 total copies, with 1,000 on 180-gram clear wax and 500 on 180-gram red. It looks like we get standard art and it will be priced at $21.99.
The pressing will go up for pre-order on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 1 p.m. EST. It will be released on November 24th.

Totally torn as to if I want the silver variant that will be more limited or the others that I think look nicer :/

That's about how I felt too.

Bought YFIP yesterday and yes the top has a slight split and the purple is dark. Hold it up to the light to see it. Thought it was black at first. And I guess theres music on there too.

Too much support of Adam fox for me to appreciate that

Got this on vinyl yesterday, the regular clear version (pretty mad I didn't see the Icelandic one had two bonus tracks, would've ordered that one) but the album sounds really great on vinyl. A lot of depth, really natural heavy sounds. Made me like the album a bit more since I could make out all the little parts and effects in it. Also didn't even realize "crystals" had acoustic guitar going through the entire time, could only hear it on the vinyl version, to be fair I only heard the song on the radio so perhaps that's why.
 
Edit: I will also agree, after the first three songs the album gets pretty bland. Hopefully its a grower, but in comparison to their first album its not nearly as great, nor catchy IMO. Overall, a decent follow-up.
 
Also, the die-cutting is cool looking and all, but it was done a LOT better on that RSD 7". They may as well just have printed it the way it looks.

It would've been really great if the postcard was only hidden in some random copies. People cutting them open to find nothing would be hilarious.
