I waited for 24 hours for SSD to refund my money after I responded to them to do so.  When they didn't, I opened a Paypal claim.  It was returned within an hour or two.  They should just refund people's money.

That's good. But I'd be a little pissed if for some reason I didn't see this email for a week and found out they just gave me $180 in store credit instead of a refund.

I can look past the tech issues to a point, but why on earth they decided to put these online when the site is basically inaccessible for most is a mystery.....

This one seems to be the RSD version and is shipping now. Comes out to ~$35 shipped to the US.
 
Apparently the green RSD pressing is 4,900, which sounds like a lot -- but then again Wes Anderson probably has a disproportionate amount of vinyl nerds in his fanbase.

My sgnied copy arrived a day or two ago and it was well packed and had no issues. I played it through and it sounded really sweet. I will probably play it at most once more before it is sealed in heavy plastic, then encased in stone, and moved into my family's crypt.

When labels/distributors solicit releases to stores, there's a list price or manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) intended to keep the pricing standardized among retailers.

FYI the Royksopp catalogue was re-pressed recently...you should be able to find Junior at a reasonable price on eBay, etc.

Look, I'm not really that upset over it... I just think it's pretty poor customer service. If they had said "It'll take a few weeks to get it to you," that would have been fine.
 
Instead, they gave me a shipping number (as in, "hey look! your record has shipped"), and then didn't ship it. And then gave me an excuse and a further delay.
 
I've sold 300-400 records over the past year. It never took me a week to send out someone's order, and selling music isn't even my job.

i think that if a record is advertised as in stock, it should ship a little sooner than 3 weeks. but i do understand that captured tracks is a small outfit i guess. i'm not dying from waiting by any means, it can just get a little annoying when you receive a shipping notification, but it doesnt actually ship until weeks later.

Received 3 packages yesterday, a lot more to come.  All 3 were in PRISTINE condition.  The vinyl were minty, it was as if our Lord and Savriour Jesus Christ hand delivered them to me disguised as a USPS postal worker. 

I don't mean this to be instigating but...are corner bends that big of a deal?  Especially on 30% off sale items?  I mean, a corner bend on a brand new copy of the new Jessica Lea Mayfield Elliot Smith cover record- unforgivable.  But anything else seems like a minor irritant.
