  1. I'm glad some of you grabbed this. I'm interested to see if the orders are fulfilled. GoHastings definitely has some crazy prices. I just picked up The Band's Last Waltz (3LP, 180g Boxset from RSD 2013) for $14 plus the $2.98 shipping. It usually goes for $40+.
  2. FYI ya'll. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Eminem-Vinyl-Lps-10lp-R-2015-New-Long-Play-Record-/141611856809?hash=item20f8b973a9:i:141611856809 I don't care for his music, but this usually goes for over $200, so I thought I would share. It's got to be an error in the listing.
  3. Ok girls and guys. Signing off on The Bride on the Boxcar portion of this Margot experience. Here's the cats at Joyful Noise Recordings unboxing the thing. They've begun shipping, so check your mailbox and show us pics of yours. We got word that they have "a handful" of black sets left, so get 'em at joyfulnoiserecordings.com if ya want 'em. XXXO, Margot. Message from Facebook. My box set arrives Monday!
  4. Yes it does. It also has the baby genius comic and the funeral comic. All are printed on the inner sleeves. Listened to ESB this morning. No surface noise, sounds really good. Also, no sleeve scuffing on the LPs. They look like black glass. Quality pressing.
  5. Received my copy of Electro-shock today from Amazon. This pressing on black vinyl is looking really good. Will listen tomorrow.
  6. Thanks for the heads up. I canceled my Amazon.ca order, and placed it with Soundstage. Saved me about $15.
  7. Purchased. That is less than $70 shipped to the US. Let's hope the Canadian dollar stays weak before this ships.
  8. MGMT "Time to Pretend" EP reissue on glow in the dark vinyl for Black Friday RSD. Best thing I've seen so far. Although, kind of gimmicky. http://modern-vinyl.com/2015/10/02/bf-2015-mgmt-reportedly-reissuing-time-to-pretend/
  9. I know there are mixed feelings about newbury exclusives (e.g., repressing common, inprint titles and charging more due to color variant), but I got to say, from the 3 titles I picked up, they are high quality pressings. That John Lee Hooker ($15), John Coltrane Lush Life ($13) and Volcano Choir ($20 purchased secondhand) all look and sound phenomenal. I appreciate the polyvinyl sleeves as well. Haven't had any sleeve wear. I grabbed a few of the Miles Davis exclusives and that BB King at the Regal as well.
  10. Just received the 2015 presses of Junta, Lawn Boy, and Rift (on black); Nectar is enroute. All look and sound amazing, especially Junta (it's super heavy with 3 LPs and a sweet trifold...and the artwork!). Worth grabbing these LPs if you all don't have them.
  11. Popmarket has a unique vinyl bundle for sale today from Intheclouds. Water and glitter-filled gatefold, seed-based paper and plantable LP jacket... Very creative, but I don't know the bands. Thought I would share with you all in case there is interest... https://www.popmarket.com/details/117611904?feature_id=117611234
  12. PM me if you have any of the below that you want to part with. Specifically: 1. Widowspeak LP on red vinyl 2. Almanac LP on green or white vinyl 3. Gun Shy 7 inch on white vinyl 4. Harsh Realm/Burn Out 7 inch on white vinyl 5. The Swamps EP on yellow vinyl THANKS!
  13. Have they announced a release date yet on the new album?
  14. Newbury still has some: https://www.newburycomics.com/collections/record-store-day/products/phish-new-years-eve-1995-6-lp-box-set-vinyl?variant=4629239043
  15. Not sure how much this forum follows underground hip-hop/electronic production, but I have a few LPs from Mush Records for sale. http://www.mushrecords.com/ According to their website, some of these titles are OOP. Prices are PPD. 1. Caural - Mirrors for Eyes (2xLP) - $10 2. Thavius Beck - Thru (1XLP) - $10 3. Antimc - It's Free, But It's Not Cheap (1XLP) - $10 4. Radioinactive & Antimc - Free Kamal (2xLP) - $10 All are brand new and sealed. Shipping will be USPS media mail with tracking. I'd prefer to sell to US addresses only. If you want to buy all 4 LPs, I'll let them go for $35 ppd. PM me if interested. Thanks. Feedback on ebay: username is "zdkaiser"
  16. Forgot to post... it's free on his bandcamp page if you haven't heard it: https://makeoutvideotape.bandcamp.com/album/some-other-ones
  17. Mac's Some Other Ones has some funky instrumental tunes. Definitely worth a listen.
  18. This is what I have (JBL L830 bookshelf speakers): http://www.amazon.com/JBL-Performance-6-Inch-Bookshelf-Loudspeaker/dp/B000FYZARY They have fantastic bass, stereo separation, and possess a well-balanced frequency range. They sound good at low volumes as well. No distortion at extreme volumes. Build quality is top-notch (each weighs ~23lbs), and they can be bi-amped. They can be found cheaper elsewhere online. I snagged a pair for $275 about 4 or 5 years ago. Solid buy. Look at the reviews on Amazon and elsewhere on the net.
  19. In regards to #3, I just spoke with an Undertow rep today and he said there are no plans for the Monthly Volumes to be pressed to LPs. From the email conversation I had today: "As far as the LP version of the monthly's, I believe that is just a rumor. I haven't heard about anything about re-releaseing the songs on LPs. Sorry for any disappointment. But I do know Dave is working on a new record. We may see that available early next year." Not sure who to believe.
  20. I'd be interested in a copy for sure. Please PM me if you have an extra.
  21. PM me with what you have. I am looking for everything but "Noir." Thanks.
  22. I contacted them this week. Interstate 8 is in, but no BNOOS. I got them to ship the two records separately at no extra cost. I think they are frustrated with the delay as well.
  23. I should clarify, I did not create the site. I was just passing along the link because I found it today. I believe there is an option for this.
  24. Pretty colored records to peruse. http://coloredvinylrecords.com/
