  1. That'd be nice, but don't get your hopes up. RCA (USA) and Dirty Hit (UK) have had quite a few differences in how they've handled the releases, and I'm not sure RCA has the rights to the EPs like Dirty Hit does.
  2. those spin cleans can make it worse if the issue was dust from the manufacturing process.
  3. i don't want to take a chance, so I had it shipped to a friend in UK who will forward it to me. I've missed out on too much stuff because of their label restrictions.
  4. On the 1 year anniversary of their debut album, "My Love Is Cool", Wolf Alice is announcing a deluxe boxset through their UK label, Dirty Hit. It includes their impossible to find EPs, "Creature Songs" and "Blush" on 10" as well. Unfortunately, because they have a different label in the US, these cannot be shipped in the US. My Love Is Cool Boxset £60.00 Release Date 19 August 2016 Product code DH00139 Format Vinyl Box Set Label Dirty Hit Super deluxe album includes the below and is presented in a 12” lift off lid box. 5. I don't feel like reading back. How do you tell the difference between the two from the outside?
  6. just received my copy from amazon. Bare bones packaging with no insert. GZ black pressing. Excited to spin it this evening as I haven't listened to any of it yet.
  7. i haven't been blown away by anything since their last full length, but their output is consistent enough.
  8. sorry all! someone took me up on this and I haven't had a chance to reply to everyone.
  9. You didn't get fucked over. stop being such a baby.
  10. Missed out on this thread for a while. Colin and Joe look like awesome cats! Glad Joe is feeling better! Surgery is never easy on kitties.
  11. Anyone who wants this album on the cheap, in the US... I have an extra copy on teal vinyl that has a crease on the top of the outer jacket. The record is perfect and the printed inner sleeve doesn't even have any seam splits. I've moved the record to an anti-static sleeve to ensure that it stays that way. $12 shipped in the US, send me a PM if interested.
  12. Rebought this about a year ago for $35 at half priced books. Now is probably the absolute worst time to buy.
  13. Doubt it. The last two album deluxe versions were a double LP and double 10" set while the standard were single LPs. This time, both the standard and deluxe are double LPs. I can't see why they'd do two different masters of double LPs in 45 and 33. I'm sure they'll either both be 45 or both be 33.
  14. Jesus Christ. The album has been out for barely 24 hours and they have a year of touring ahead. This band takes upwards of 5 years to release a new album, what would be the point of breaking up now?
  15. There's already a white exclusive for independent retailers. i can't imagine why there wouldn't be standard version for all retailers. Most likely released by XL.
  16. none of their other deluxe versions have hit retail there is not shipping and handling charged for the deluxe through waste if you're in the US.
  17. I saw them last night in Chicago and recorded the whole show using a Shure MV88. It sounds incredible. If I have some free time, I'll try to split the tracks soon and do a little EQ.
  18. No one's buying a Die-cut BB8 picture disc to listen to, are they? But honestly, Picture discs usually sound like shit. I actually have a few that are well made. I've seen picture disc processes that are close to being two clear records glued together. Most, though, are as thin as flexis. That's why they usually sound awful.
