Yeah. I like this approach too. Sometimes bands say no to that because they start to not like the ep or demo prior.  I've tried this a few times and been told no by bands.  With the High Cost LP I asked if they had any other songs to add. Turned out they had two songs recorded just no vocals so we got those finished and added them to fill out the LP. 

Spaced and Zulu basically did the same thing right? I like that approach. Although I also really like the 7" format and it's unfortunate that it's become so costly to make them.

Like End Its release. They packaged the old eps with the new ep.

Maybe it's because my collection isn't in a value of six figures, but when I got house insurance they were fine with me presenting my Discogs data as proof of items/value.

I definitely didn’t gloss over it.  But the 3-4 posts that immediately followed Toki’s post basically confirmed my suspicion: of any band’s fandom, I would assume that Limp Bizkit’s is probably the most tone-deaf and oblivious to allegations of that variety.
I wasn’t going to say anything about it because I’ve already taken some shots at this release, and figured “moving on” without any more shit-posting would probably be in the best interest of everyone.  But since you mentioned it and literally 1 or 2 people at most have said anything about it today… here I am.  Ya’ got me.
If anyone wants to accuse me of “riding a high horse” when I say that I’ve literally never given Ross or his label a penny, I’ll die on this steed.  Trash human runs a trash label specializing in trash music.  Who coulda’ pieced that together?
Note that this isn’t a jab at anyone who’s admitted to enjoying garbage like Limp Bizkit, ironically or not.  Historically though, I mean look at what this dude churns out.  It’s all cartoon soundtracks and liquid filled video game OSTs, with some occasional high school emo pop / punk sprinkled in for good measure.
None of this will stop the determined nostalgia bruhs from scrambling to buy this on Friday.  It will sell out in moments and Ross will continue to print money by regurgitating more copies of the same variants ad nauseam.  But at least now I’ve properly bitched about it.

Album is sick.  There’s some really cool stuff happening on it.  43 minutes leaves a lot to dig but on first listen, Nympheas may still be a highlight for me – somehow that track keeps getting better and better, and has cemented itself as one of their best cuts, for me.
There’s a few tracks featuring cleaner vocals – maybe not “clean” so much as less aggressive – like 2-3 at most.  But I actually think they do a great job at keeping the essence of the band rooted, while giving the album some room to stretch its legs and breathe.  Don’t get me wrong, I love me some BIR when they’re all in and pummeling… but 40+ minutes of that kinda’ relentlessness would be fatiguing for sure.
Anyway.  Zero regrets on the pricy PO.  I don’t think it streams for another week, so you’re in for a treat whether you try it out digitally or wait for the record.  I find it to (already) be miles better than WALTW, personally.
