Hahaha, I took my ex in there once and she never went back with me. I'd rather look alone anyway. Tell me about it though...There are way too many TVs there now for me to look at the new (old) cassette stock. 

I bought a used Smiths record once, took it home and it sounded like absolute shit. I "cleaned" it with some store bought solution and microfiber cloth - it did nothing. Brought it back to the store and they popped it onto their VPI machine. Plays like it's new. 
 
So from my experience cleaning with a cloth only gets rid of the surface dust and such. Does absolutely nothing for in the grooves. 
 
Also, this one record store I go to the owner cleans records with Windex and an old shirt so there's that lol idk how good it does tho

Gracias. It really helps the orange in some of my prints/ posters pop while standing in the room. Plus we only had black and orange spraypaint so there was little choice.

I have two of those drawer holders coming my way eventually. They're in SC right now at my girlfriend's house. We got them from Goodwill for $4 each and she painted them all black for me.

No doubt about it. Every time I go in there with my wife, all 3 of those pervs walk right past me and go get a big hug from her. Then tell me how lucky I am...then Bob asks us if we have more records for him. I feel bad for anyone who brings their TV in for repairs. Those same dismantled TVs have been on the floor for years.

lmao, one time I was buying a record and Bob was like "let me just put it on the VPI machine real quick"....I continued browsing but I know for damn sure there's no VPI machine in there

Thank you for sharing that information. Honestly I was clueless to this. I'm a little bumbed that this could ruin my record's though. I am in no position to get a better record player so for now this is all I have.

Found this at a thrift shop today. 1986 Pop music from Hong Kong...the music isn't terrible and reminds me of Super Mario for some reason... I'm diggin' the artwork tho

I am still scratching my head. This album was avail for preorder for weeks. 2 days after its released he dies and all of the "diehard bowie " fans are upset they didn't get the " variant".
If you are a diehard bowie fan, you don't care about the color and just want the music and probably had a copy before he died.
