The Horrors' fifth studio album is being released on September 22nd, 2xLP with signed print available from the official store above. Doesn't look like there will be regular and deluxe vinyl versions like Luminous had, just the regular double LP. This is also their first album (aside from Strange House, of course) not released by XL.
 
First single "Machine" was released a few weeks ago:
 

I saw that! I replied to his reply and told him I would cut my balls off for a blue press. He said he'd get the whole gang to sign it for me and lick each side of the record, then personally deliver it to me. Great guy, decent customer service.

Sooo...yesterday was pretty amazing for me. I got to see Clint Mansell perform live as part of Melbourne Festival. Prior to the show they had a 'Conversation with Clint' -  a kind of interview/Q&A type thing in one of the halls. Was really interesting to hear him speak about his early days, influences, relationship with Darren Aronofsky/Trent Reznor, how he approaches writing etc. He definitely is not part of the Hollywood machine - quite the character!
 
I got to meet him afterwards and got him to sign my Moon record..so stoked! AND I used the opportunity to ask him about The Fountain pressing (how could I not!). He said straight up that Mondo are doing it next year and they are doing Noah as well. Then mentioned how Black Swan is being released now etc. So there it is...we WILL get The Fountain.
 
The show was absolutely amazing. Played all the highlights from Pi, Requiem, Noah, The Wrestler, Moon, & The Fountain. Blew my mind! Can't wait to hear High Rise...heard good things!

Not generally a fan of Pitchfork reviews but I think they make some good points. I've given the album a few listens and it just comes off as underwhelming, weary, and weak. I love Adams but these kind of songs structurally are meant to be explosive pop songs, and he just kind of makes them... boring. Half the time he's singing in this soft lullaby voice, and I'm not sure why. He's a very capable singer and songwriter. But hey, that's just like uh, y'know, my opinion, man.

A new European repress/reissue of Marina's Family Jewels is obviously coming up in August. Some flippers are already offering preorders on Ebay & Discogs based on this information so beware paying an exaggerated amount of money for something that should be a fairly regular release.

One copy of original vinyl from 2010 sold for $760 on Ebay in July 2015. 

ST, ILAD, and LFLT had listings on many sites for a hi-horse release. the LFTL dissappeared from every website. the ST and ILAD could still be found on some sites however I ordered both from amazon 2x each and got the reprise version each time. so i have no idea what the hi-horse ST and ILAD version are all about but i don't think they exist or they are literally the exact same thing as the reprise version and just a repress with the exact same catalog numbers and all, etc.
