Out October 2nd on their Weathermaker label.

    From their press release:

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CLUTCH TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM “PSYCHIC WARFARE” OCTOBER 2ND 2015

July 8th 2015 - Clutch, the influential heavy rock band from Maryland, will release its eleventh studio album “Psychic Warfare” October 2nd via their own label Weathermaker Music. The album was produced by longtime producer Machine (Lamb Of God, Every Time I Die) and consists of 12 new tracks. “The title ‘Psychic Warfare’ is taken from the track, ‘X-Ray Visions” states singer Neil Fallon. “It’s a tale about an unnamed protagonist who is forced to seek refuge in a flop house motel. He is hiding from several nefarious psychic forces, the worst of which is his own sleep deprived paranoia.” The album cover was designed by renowned photographer Dan Winters.

Clutch is comprised of vocalist/guitarist Neil Fallon, drummer Jean-Paul Gaster, guitarist Tim Sult, and bassist Dan Maines.

    “Psychic Warfare” track listing:

    01 The Affidavit
    02 X-Ray Visions

Happy I finally came across nevermind by Nirvana on tape.. the cassette looks like it was in a battle but it plays fine..
I went to this store at a good time. They received bunch of 70s funk stuff about ten minutes before I got there... Not really familiar with this genre but the Otis redding record goes for about the price I paid for everything ($30).. there were a bunch of German presses as well. They were all in mint condition too which is why I bought them.

The beneficiary is not Susan G Komen, it's Gilda's Club NYC, same as last year. This was organized by a friend of mine who works at RED Distribution. At least $1 from each sale will go to Gilda's Club NYC. Some bands are donating more. Last year almost $30,000 was raised and the hope is to raise even more this year.

These are getting wide release, so you should have no trouble finding them wherever you like to buy records. Bare bones info went out to stores the other day, so I think you'll see these pop up in more places. More details and corrections, such as the number of records in a each package will turn up. I doubt that these are being remastered, so if the black vinyl is a 2LP set, you can bet that the pink vinyl will be 2LP as well.

Pressing quantities haven't been announced yet. Let me know if anybody else has questions and I'll get the scoop.

Read a list of bands on and affiliated with the label/situation.
I am going to boycott everyone involved 110%. Of course this requires zero effort on my part and my life will not change at all. All those bands are terrible or I've never heard of them, so obviously they are terrible.
This kind of action is needed though. Fuck predators and abusers. They need to be publicly called out so this kind of shit stops being accepted.

I know this may not be the trendiest news to read today, and I know Cwhit got laughed at in other threads for bringing this to attention, but fuck that. I know many of you are scoffing at a boycott of Pure Noise Records, a label who knowingly signed a band with a sexual assaulter, and then told a fan who brought it to their attention to "never buy another record from them again". Some of you have said that bands like Four Year Strong have "no blood on their hands", even though they continue to employ a man who tried to hide an assault, and then threatened Christian from The Hotelier for calling him out, and offered two pieces of free merch to a kid if they set their Hotelier shirt on fire. All of this at the expense of a 17 year old girl (at the time of the assault) who has probably taken almost as much heat for this for not staying quiet about it as the assaulter himself.
Anyway, if you want to laugh this off and pretend like it's not important and that it's yesterdays news, then cool. I'm going to boycott Pure Noise (not that I have ever been an avid supporter) not because I think it's going to put a dent in their wallet, or sadly, change anything at all, but because by supporting them, you are, whether you will admit it or not, supporting a label with the mentality that it's okay to push sexual assaults under the rug, while continuing to show support for assaulters.
Also, I agree that Jason Tate is quite often a total wiener. However, laughing at the position he is taking in this whole ordeal is disgusting. He's shedding light on an extremely important issue within the scene, and if you honestly think he is doing it for his own benefit/"holier than thou" attitude after reading everything below, than you're pretty fucked up.
It's obviously your choice if you decide to boycott a record label or not. But I think it's important that people know about this, and then make a decision for themselves on whether or not they will support Pure Noise, and the bands involved. This will at least allow you to do that by shedding some light on the situation.

And I would like to thank Cwhit for bringing this whole thing to my attention.

    Be nice, dammit.
OP you don't have to clean your records every time you play them, just give them a glance and if they seem dusty give them a quick clean with the kit you mentioned. It's a good idea to clean new and used records the first time you play them, especially haze colored records because those tend to be "sandy".
Don't know much about Jensen players, our equipment board offers a lot of info regarding hardware.
Swapping needles depends on the table. Swapping a cartridge isn't very difficult, just loosen the housing and unplug the small cables attached, just do the opposite when putting on a new one. Honestly, if you're gentle with your tone arm this won't be a reoccurring problem. You can stretch the life of a cartridge/needle if you're gentle (no need to be precious, just treat your records/table with moderate care).

You're going to get a lot of sarcastic, incorrect answers, dude.

I'll start by saying that you'll never get a recommendation to use an "all in one" player from anyone on these boards.

Just wet cleaning stuff with a microfiber cloth and cleaning fluid won't remove any dirt/grime from within the grooves, just scoots it around. A vacuum system is best for cleaning records.

You're not going to get anything that will properly play your records for $100 or less unless you get a heck of a deal on some vintage equipment that someone doesn't know what it is worth.

Never use just plain tap water to clean your records.

Records wear down. If you're listening to your few records multiple times per week on a turntable like you've described they will wear down more quickly.
