Yeah this format is fucking awful, guys.  Holy shit.  I want the old layout back.  That was so user-friendly.  This is not.  we lost all our shit!  I had so many threads saved to reference...  where do you find the list of threads you posted in now?  This is retarded.

Deathwish - the new Bossk record "Audio Noir" has now come twice to me scratched, in the Mint Green /700 variant. Caleb has offered a 3rd replacement. SUPER AWESOME label.
IndieMerch - Got my copy of the yellow "Mariner" variant by Cult of Luna, and they packaged it like shit. Album plays fine, but came with seamsplits in all the inner sleeves. They've sent me a new one, free of charge. Very awesome customer service.
Hobbledehoy Records - Bought a bunch of Fourteen Nights At Sea stuff, and Tom threw in a free copy of This Will Destroy You "Another Language" and an Arrows album I don't know, for free. Dude is awesome.

I went to the website, and it didn't mention anything about any variants! Being that it included 3 of the 4 main variants that were already up for PO, wouldn't it be natural to assume that the 4th would potentially be "orange crush"? Especially given how different from the mockups the red, white and blue and the clear w/ red splatters turned out?

Its like at work. People say shit about everybody behind their backs. They need to vent. They don't want to say it to their face, because their desire isn't to offend or ridicule or hurt the person's feelings, but at the same time... they still need to vent their frustrations.
Is it the healthiest way to cope? Probably not. But, it's human nature I think.

I wish there was a way to report or take down flippers. There has to be some way of combating the practice.
It's one thing to buy a cool record, like ITTCT, for $25 and then sell it for $40 because you really don't want to let it go, but you need the space/money, and that's the price where you're personally finally okay with justifying letting it go, but it's quite another thing to buy a record for $25 with the sole intention of listing it for $70 simply to make a profit.

Been listening to a lot of Sunbather lately. This record is so stupefyingly unreal.
The material translates so well to the live setting, I hope they keep most of it in their set. Although I was a little bummed they didn't have the piano part on sample for "The Pecan Tree" in the live versions I checked out.
But holy shit, "Sunbather" live is so punishing and amazing. There's a version where they add this chugging riff in the outro... Kerry takes a different picking technique attack and you can hear where they were going with this new material.

I fucking LOVE Alcest. "Shelter" is my favorite album, that thing is fucking sick. It's less black metal and more shoegaze, but I fucking love that thing.
Their older records are great too, but the pop melodies mixed with the distortion and shoegaze guitar work on "Shelter" just blow me away.
Definitely go see them. ALWAYS go see music.
