I'm pretty happy I never get the feeling of being overwhelmed with my semi absurd amount of records, tapes and CDs. I've been actively buying since childhood and I rarely get rid of anything. My only concern at the moment is the fact that I only have a one bedroom apartment and am really running low on space (I'm thankful for my walk in closet). I do have a stash of stuff I've picked up specifically for doing trades so I need to get that list on here soon.
I see that some people say "what's the point, I'm gonna die anyway" and I think that's kind of a dumb way to look at things. Music is one of the things I enjoy most in life so I'll enjoy the hell out of it while I'm here.

Running a distro is hard work folks. I hope for the owner's sake he didn't lose a bunch of money and is able to build up his label as quickly as he did his distro, which was quite impressive. I always wondered how IVWT was able to offer records so cheap and still be able to turn a profit. My shop is small potatoes compared to IVWT and Vinyl Junkie but it definitely scares me knowing reputible shops like these are closing out of nowhere. Keep supporting small distro's and local record shops folks or all we'll have left is amazon and ebay.

You know what I like? Records! Don't give a shit about color, cover, vinyl thickness. If I can put it on my turntable and listen to some great tunes, I'm happy. If those tunes happen to be on a more limited color of vinyl, that's a small bonus, but in no way a deal breaker. Colored vinyl is cool; black vinyl is cool; records are cool.

Honesty, if the chord progressions (which vary in time signature) ruin this record for you and it doesn't matter that his voice has improved a ton over time then your opinion isn't worth much anyway.

i remember being pissed when they announced it as a 7" box set, it could have been a $40 price tag and i would have still be bummed. repress the LP and call it a day. a 7" box set (or 10") of the the EP's (Summer's Kiss, So Impossible, and The Drowning) would also be nice.

it is just part of your homeowner's or renter's insurance policy. you would need to give your collection a dollar value to insure and then you would pay a monthly premium on that insured amount. it would probably be smart to keep a good list of your records and send it to your insurance company as well.

same here. i really like the two songs that i listened to and decided to order. i also appreciate the effort that was put into the release, happy to support it and own it!

i liked this album the first time i listened to it. the only MCS album that i didn't dig the first time through was my dinosaur life, but that eventually grew on me and now i dig it. i don't understand why so many people don't like go, it sounds like MCS to me, they have been quite different for the last three albums, and i personally think it is not a bad change.

I'm holding out for the Suburban Home variant.

your internet speed is only one very small variable in the overall speed achieved when downloading a torrent. have you tried another torrent? perhaps one with a lot of seeds?
