Yeah! All these dipshits picking albums that don't fit my own musical tastes, or that I'm unfamiliar with... what a joke. It's hard to give credibility to people with different opinions, you know? Sometimes I hate being the only guy on the boards with such a refined, superior taste in music.

Nah, it's a group effort. You and several others on this forum are what inspired me to make this thread in the first place. VC has a handful of people that go out of their way to give back to complete strangers (more or less). Their generosity is inspiring to me. Since I can't say I'm overly familiar with Paramore variants, I wanted to look into this to see if we've got another case of TheUsedGuy; i.e. actively searching for colored wax that doesn't exist. Unless I'm missing something, it looks like there are just two variants of this album? White and blue? If that's the case, the only "black" variant you're going to find is a test press.

I think the lack of colored wax is a bit of a missed opportunity on this one... especially when you consider how sweet the variant could potentially be, if it tied in with that album art. But I'm hardly going to complain about release when it's selling for $12. Temporary Residence has always been one of the best labels in the business, and this is just a testament to that. The track above sounds like neither Eluvium nor EITS, and I'm completely okay with that. I think this album is going to be incredibly wholesome and lush. And I can't speak for everyone who's making this purchase... but I'm tickled to be spending $12 to hear beautiful new sounds, in an age where pop-punk nostalgia records - that everyone has heard and many have outgrown - are being repressed at twice the cost.

I seldom read the text attached to "news" of this nature, but I try to at least glance it over. And for whatever reason my eye jumped straight to "USB", and I had to read the context that it was used in. I think it's a pretty cool concept, and I definitely plan on watching the stream, one way or another. Apparently the Feral Love video is a sort of mash-up of scenes and characters from the film. I really dig the atmosphere and quality of it, so I'm expecting great things from the full length.

Probably the first ambient / drone album that truly clicked with me on all fronts, and helped me appreciate the genre for all that it has to offer.

So as I mentioned, I didn't tamper with the timing of the frames on this drawing. Everyone was set at 0.0 seconds for equal opportunity. In the future, a tie-breaker may be necessary, since this one was pretty close. But I am very pleased to announce that the winner is... TOKIMEDO This wasn't staged, I can assure you. I just think it was just meant to be. But skeptics are welcome to see for themselves. I'll be bumping this thread when the next giveaway is on the horizon. Thanks for the participation, everyone.
