Got mine in just now, I was thinking the artwork was going to be extremely pixelated and they're just a little blurry, Hypnotize isn't blurry at all compared to the others

I haven't but I saw then in my local shop, they didnt seem to imply 180 g on the sticker or anything

Yeah I think the Sam Ray hype has definitely died down, but I'm still a huge collector of his stuff. Side note,Has anyone listened to his newest project with his wife called The Pom-Poms? Its straight up dance pop music and it's not my style at all but I thought the EP was pretty fun

I got the Yellow Control and it sounds pretty good to me

I wouldn't say it's my favorite album of theirs, but it is arguably their best. I'm hoping they release all the new songs they released this year in a 7 inch series or compile them on an album, they are too good not to see any physical release. And I'm still hoping they do a full tour soon I've only seen them once, and they played Boys and Girls front to back and it was as close to a religious experience I've ever had

It's not as immediate but I've listened to it almost non stop. I find it incredibly hilarious he uses Sublime lyrics in a song called 'Darkness', which is probably my favorite song, but there isn't a bad song on this album. 'Rings' and 'Light On' are also better than anything off Cardinal

Checked out this Holy Fawn everyone was talking about and it's pretty good, very interesting tones interspersed with some typical shoegaze/post-rock meets black metal moments. The biggest difference is the singing is actually singing and sounds really good with the occasional screaming vocals. After one listen I would probably buy this on vinyl

Yeah, that's a little ridiculous cause with all that we know now he did nothing that could even be considered abuse and the whole situation was blown way out of proportion, it sucks their entire career almost got derailed over this. Skylight is incredibly good though and I'm just glad the issue preventing it from being released is resolved and everyone can move on
