I bought a few records from polyvinyl last week which shipped from Illinois and I received them today, which is strange because I'm pretty sure the last I checked my tracking on this record, it's stuck in Illinois since July 27th, so it's confusing how some packages are making it out and some are just stuck

This is a lot catchier and poppier compared to what I was expecting, but I really like it, might have to sign up for the subscription service to make sure I get this on vinyl to keep my collection complete.

Tiny Engines was accused of spending royalties earned from bigger bands (Adult Mom) on streaming services to pay for costs of signing smaller bands and everyone attacked Tiny Engines and tried to cancel them for it. It's like they don't know how extremely small indie labels work? SST did it for years and so did so many other labels. And IH bailed on their contract and fucked themselves out of money just to appear like they were standing up against 'the man' or whatever and they released this record to 'get back' at Tiny Engines for them putting out their previous album and giving them a lot of exposure. It's pretty ass backwards scene politics in my opinion, Tiny Engines has been one of my favorite labels for awhile and I feel like the amount of heat they got was unwarranted

"Made just for Record Store Day" and "available exclusively at Urban Outfitters" in the same sentence is the most contradictory sentence I've read in awhile. But I just finally watched Into The Spiderverse and was surprised that I actually really liked that Sunflower song lol I would buy it on a 7" for $5

I got a sealed original copy of Blind Melon - Soup for $8 a few years before it was reissued and I sold it for $250 (regret it now) I had two copies of Government Plates I bought for $14 each at the record store I worked at with my employee discount and sold one on ebay buy it now for $100 the same day and kept the other one until I really needed the cash and sold that one for $250 (Biggest regret ever)
