  1. "Artwork is the same photographer, Mitchell, that we always work with. But the layout this time around was done by Anne, who does most of our merch. We pretty much let those two do what they want. This look is more my speed so I’m happy with it, but plenty people have noted it has a different feel." From the SDF site
  2. Yeah but they won't/ haven't because they dont want to pay $20 shipping. I've gotten numerous messages from people asking me to sell them mine on discogs and my response is always 'I won't sell it for less than what you can get it for on their website'
  3. I feel bad for anyone still sleeping on these in hopes of them hitting US distro for cheaper, it's not gonna happen.
  4. Composite Character is one of the greatest opening tracks of all time
  5. touring with Diiv in October/November, and they're playing in my town! Was gonna drive an hour up to Denver to see them on Sunday but I might just wait til November, or maybe I'll go to both. Really cant believe they are playing such a small venue here, its gonna be fucking crazy
  6. Fucking finally, hopefully Mesmerize and Hypnotize are coming also!
  7. There's an indie exclusive on transparent green /1000 that should be very easy to get on release day. For how hyped this band is I thought the song was just kind of 'meh'
  8. They go all in on the fuzz on this one, not many quiet parts like Tired Of Tomorrow.Us/We/Are and Wind Me Up stood out the most to me but the album was pretty good as a whole. Still gonna wait to order though since there's 10+ variants to choose from, I'll probably just get whatever ends up being cheapest in a couple months
  9. The shortness just makes you able to listen to them over and over again. Cody wasn't terribly short I think two songs went over the 4 minute mark, and goddamn that album was so good. They are a really fun live band too, one of the best bands of this scene the past couple years.
  10. https://www.npr.org/sections/allsongs/2018/07/18/629466219/hear-foxings-soaring-nearer-my-god-in-5-different-languages new song
  11. http://www.topshelfrecords.com/products/612879-giraffes-giraffes-memory-lame 2 new variants one out of /155 the other out of /520, both look pretty sweet
  12. It looks like Caspian is only playing on this tour through October and then Tera Melos opens on the rest of the tour, so maybe this Caspian MWY tour is also still happening? I can only hope
  13. Deafheaven do not care about being metal, people who don't like this album are probably just mad they are not metal. If Deafheaven wanted Night People on the album, it belongs there. I'm not saying everyone has to like this album, but denying the progression of their technical abilities is kind of absurd to me, everyone in the band gives their best musical performances on this album and across seven tracks with more diversity than most bands can imagine doing throughout seven albums. If you want the old stuff listen to the old stuff. It's still there
  14. Pianos, orchestra, and some riffs from a Avril Lavigne song thrown all together with some autistic screaming layered on top of it. That's Deafheaven. Hahahahahahahah
  15. Picked up the blue from my local and it doesn't sound super great but it's good enough, Canary Yellow is definitely my favorite track on the album, it's almost as good as Dream House, it's got a great build up and the guitar tone is perfect, I hope I see them on this tour since I've missed them every time in the past
  16. Even more tour dates if you Google 'brand new tour' but not the same as the website, it will be very interesting seeing this unfold. If they were playing anywhere near me I would buy a ticket without thinking twice
