you like some of the songs but you've still "lost them"? i've enjoyed the singles from NCTH (haven't streamed the leak yet) and that's pretty much all that has stuck with me from suburbia. i barely listen to that album. so i'll call this one a winner so far.
 
they'll lose me when it's all garbage. such gold's "the new sidewalk" was unlistenable. whatever album four year strong released after "enemy of the world" was unlistenable. when it gets that bad... that's when they'll lose me.

are we still really comparing live shows with in-store acoustic promotional events for a new album?

That's really weird. Bands always say stuff like, "is it okay with you guys if we play a new one?" etc...

most people do. but you're completely missing the point.

this is not just "a live performance", it's a promotional event for the new record, where they promote the new record by playing songs off it.

There already is one. A few people can't help but bring it up in every semi-relevant thread they can. No one is ignoring any issue cwhit. Just because we listen to a band doesn't mean we hate women, support rape, etc. Get over it.

This thread is about The Wonder Years' new album. This forum is about music. If you want to talk about those other issues, which have NOTHING to do with TWY's new album OR music, start a thread in the Everything Else forum.

I've never seen that reputation pop-up before. I just tried to click the "X" to close the box about 3 times before realizing it was an image...definitely just hit the bong 5 minutes ago...
 
Speaking of which...Here's to hoping Sublime comes out before the end of this month. I'm going to see them (with Rome) in CT on Thursday

I totally get his logic considering the context (if it's a true statement) but what I dont get is WHY would you put 1 copy on your website?? Just put it on Ebay because it's still flipping a record and kind of smears your company now.

The new album is really good. I'd assume if you're already a fan of Defeater you will be into this.

I'm definitely a little bummed about the label change. Most of my epitaph records sound kinda lousy; all of my B9 records sound great. Oh well.

Trying to get rid of some records as I'm moving next week. It was easier to just put them up on E-bay instead of trying to sell on here. There are some limited records but nothing too crazily sought out or expensive

I mean I can sit here and list off reasons of how Merch Now has messed up countless times too. All I said was that I have had better experiences with one over the other so I stick with the one who hasn't let me (personally) down.
 
I don't get why this is getting everyone's panties in a bunch. This is like someone getting mad at me for buying from Marshalls (distributor) instead of paying full price at a company's official store online and pay for overpriced shipping...

I've always had bad experiences with Merch Now and I've always had the best customer service with Hot Topic among other reasons why I prefer Hot Topic. I'm not going to order from them just because a small amount of money goes to a charity and then charge me double for shipping....
