  1. All Shall Perish is wicked. I've been listening to them since The Price of Existence and I'm finally going to see them in a couple weeks for the first time. Every release from these guys is solid. I agree that Hatebreed isn't the same, but I wasn't really a fan of Satisfaction... and Perserverance. The only albums of theirs that I listen to on a regular basis are The Rise of Brutality, and Supremacy. Never really got into the S/T album, but I am going to give it a few listens once I listen to the new one a few more times. I guess I prefer their newer music over what they started off doing.
  2. Meshuggah, Devin Townsend, and Gojira have all been getting a lot of listens around my place. I think that metal can mean many different things to different people. I do agree with what people have been saying about Hatebreed and The Chariot maybe not being a real, true metal band, but I think that hardcore is a subgenre of metal. The bands both have punk elements as well, but I've always just thought of hardcore music being within the metal family.
  3. I don't know many people that listen to metal, so lets talk about it here! What metal bands have you been listening to lately? I've been putting it off for awhile, but yesterday I finally picked up Between the Buried and Me - The Parallax II: Future Sequence, and The Chariot - One Wing. I can't stop listening to either of them! Also picked up Hatebreed - The Divinity of Purpose last week and I think it might be their best and heaviest album. What have you guys been listening to?
  4. From this picture, is it safe to assume that that Ascension and Decension both come with CD's?
  5. Although Water Buffalos is a pretty good song, it's a huge rip off of Baba O Riley from The Who.
  6. Last night's setlist is actually pretty good, coming from someone who only loves the first 2, and thought the rest was ok. http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/fall-out-boy/2013/subterranean-chicago-il-5bdbdfe4.html
  7. Thats a good idea. Write a dance/club song and name the album "Save Rock and Roll". Take This To Your Grace and From Under The Cork Tree were awesome, too bad they didn't continue writing in that direction.
  8. I am thinking about ordering this, just wondering if it comes with a digital download code or a CD. Also, does anybody know how the sound quality is on this record? I haven't heard anything from these guys since The Triptych, which was awesome.
  9. Agreed, definitely one of the best on the album. I'm going to throw this on this weekend.
  10. I'm thinking about buying that set at SRC, but I want to know if it is any different from just buying the records individually.
  11. I'm pretty sure I can guess the answer, but does this (or Lifesblood for the Downtrodden) come with a download code? I've been meaning to pick up some Crowbar. I have never heard a full album, only random songs.
  12. Has anyone heard back from Dine Alone about the download code not working for iTunes Originals? I emailed them a week ago and haven't heard anything from them.
  13. I have been using Last Stylus Cleaner. Last is the brand. It looks like a little bottle of nail polish, and you drag the brush from the back of the stylus to the front. Does anybody have any experience with this? It's been working great for me so far.
  14. Thank you! I will definitely try most of these. I especially like the idea of GreenPower.
  15. The expandable memory is a pretty big feature for me. I cannot use cloud services for music because I have a 6gb data plan that I tether with my computer, and stream MLB games that use of a lot of data. My 16gb iPhone is always full, so it will be nice to have a 32gb memory card purely for music and movies. Some people may not have a use for this much media, as stated above, but I definitely do.
  16. I have been using iOS since the day the iPhone 3G was released. I have had an iPhone 3G, 3GS, iPhone 4S, and an iPhone 5. After a never ending supply of problems with my iPhone 5 (I am on my 4th iPhone 5 due to hardware problems, and there are still lots of glitches with ios 6) I have decided to switch to android. I know all of the basic features of the phone, but I am just wondering what I can expect with the switch from iOS, ease of learning the os, and what cool features/apps you all like. I have heard several negative reviews about the stock keyboard, but also that swift key may be the best replacement.
  17. I don't think it will happen on all dates, but I wouldn't completely rule out Aaron singing on a few songs, at least at the last show.
  18. This is awful news, but I can think of one positive that may come from this. Years ago when they played Cornerstone in Orlando FL, I was talking to one of them (I think Chris) and asked when Act of Depression and Cries of the Past will be reissued. He said the only way those will come out is when they are no longer a band. It would be even better if they come out on vinyl.
  19. If you live in an area with LTE, I would probably go with the 5.
  20. Does anybody know if the exclusive version from Insideout comes with the Epicloud bonus track? Or is that only on the Century Media version? And does the Century Media version come with the CD? Or is that only the European version? http://www.insideoutshop.de/Item/Devin_Townsend_Project_-_Epicloud_-turquoise_2LP-CD-/15802
