That charge is probably a "currency conversion" charge because you bought something in UK pounds. When I order overseas, I get those little charges all the time.

Figure this is a long shot, but is anyone going to the Underoath/Caspian show in Philly this Saturday? I just heard two cuts from Caspian's "Dust and Disquiet" on WERA FM here in Arlington VA and I was just BLOWN AWAY. That being said, would someone please grab me the clear/black/silver splatter tour variant, if they are attending the show? I wanted to drive to Philly on Saturday to catch this amazing band live opening for Underoath, but tickets are sold out, and I avoid paying over face value for tickets. Also, if someone has an extra ticket they no longer need, I would be down to buying that and grabbing my own.

I have an original of "Soviet Kitsch," so I really don't need it. However, I would be all over that "11:11" if they ever press it.

I live in Northern Virginia, but I will be making the two hour drive to camp out at Sound Garden in Baltimore the night before. They carry the largest stock of many different items. While they don't carry the whole list of what is released that day, (they order just about everything, however not all of it shows up) I find I can get about 80% of my list, at that one store. That being said, if you want to PM me, we can swap lists and see if we can help each other get our missing items. I need a Weepies if anybody sees one. Even IF Sound Garden gets one, as I like that album so much, I will want two copies.

I WISH I bought the limited "gatefold" version that was autographed, but it was gone by the time I saw the thread. If anyone is having "buyer's remorse" for that version, don't hesitate to send me a PM!

OMG, this is so funny This is exactly what I did when I was living at home with my parents twenty years ago. These days I could never afford an original "Mellon Collie," my Mo-Fi collection, my Porcupine Tree records...etc, had I not done this. Glad I "snuck so many in." Do your research. Get what you love, and ROCK ON!

I also need a purple "Midwest Farmers Daughter" as I just love the "Alt Country" ladies. If anyone sees an extra at Rough Trade or the Hippo Campus location of Electric Fetus etc... Please let me know!

Thanks for this post! Sadly I read it about two days late Still was able to score a green "Jacksonville," but missed the gold "No Shadow." Anyone get an extra to sell or trade? It was posted on the shopfirebrand store twice, I believe. Here's hoping for the yellow "1984" next.

I love Natasha. Hate picture discs though. Would pre-order the "Heavyweight Vinyl" if she signed it. Might wait to see if there are any exclusives, or to see if I can get it cheaper from one of my stores. WILL be buying though.

What records in the UK does the same thing to me. I only shop there unless it is a really good deal. I have had really good experiences with Norman Records though. While they charge me the VAT, the shipping is pretty cheap considering the cost of other overseas dealers. Some UK dealers apply a discount there when shipping abroad.
