  1. i might have some shirts. will look if you're interested. XL.
  2. ozma and bullhead are by far my favorites, but i will be getting the third man houdini and stoner witch reissues. those should be really well done and i don't have the originals and won't be paying what they go for like ever.
  3. i almost always find i give the edge to original pressings...it's rare for me to find reissues improving on the original presses unless the original was really bad or something. i've been going back through my collection and listening to a lot of originals versus reissues the last few months. the originals sounded great to me and it would prob be pretty tough to do a blind sound test between the reissues and originals. i wouldn't discourage anyone from picking them up. so, on the flipside, no there isn't any improvement over the originals w/ the reissues. but, like i said, i rarely find that to be the case. i am always going for original presses these days unless the original is super expensive or too hard to come by.
  4. i got these yesterday. https://twitter.com/burntwolf/status/556878462720675842 they must not have been able to find the original artwork. they used slightly blown up CD art on black jackets. soundwise, ozma sounds pretty close to original. solid reissue. although, the main reason i bought the reissue of these was i was hoping 'candy-o' would be on there. it's on the euro version but not the US original. it's not though. it's a bonus download only. i will throw on bullhead next, but if ozma is any indication, they did a pretty good job w/ the reissue pressing. i don't have originals of lysol or eggnog anymore, so i can't compare those two.
  5. it's def QC in the last several years polylined sleeves really are the best...
  6. i just always used gamefaqs.com if i got stuck i don't even remember where i got the FAQ w/ all the moves for SNES Mortal Kombat II. That had to be really early for the web.
  7. I used to work at Prima Games and I wrote a couple strategy guides. I always wondered who actually bought those things.
  8. wow, anyone wants to give me that i'd ditch this f'ugly thing in a heartbeat hah
  9. i don't think i've ever rec'd a pic disc w/ the pic disc sleeve being intact. this didn't change that.
  10. Burnt Wolf will be reportedly buying 24%-80% fewer Universal records starting January which is kinda impossible actually since I prob buy 0-1% now
  11. Back on Black did Spreading the Disease, Fistful of Metal (2x10"), and State of Euphoria (2xLP on yellow) Wax Cathedral re-issued Among the Living (not limited and still avail I think) I was eyeing the Persistence of Time on blue but hadn't found it for a decent price. I was actually interested in the original German press b/c it was issued as a 2xlp. I have the originals of the 3 I really like-Living, Euphoria, Time) and my standard reissue rule applies. If the original can be had for roughly the same price and can easily be found, go for the original press. But sometimes I just can't help it and pull the trigger on these things.
  12. the Bride of Crankenstein 10" was on sale at AmRep this morning for 40$ cheapest shipping was 8.76$ or something...steep
  13. I think Ipacec has rights to Gluey now. Or they did when they reissued on CD years ago.
  14. and huzzah...cuz finally will get Stoner Witch and Houdini probably will get reissues bc i can't not pull the trigger even though i have the originals and, about time.
  15. what? i have been looking to pick up a Euro Ozma since it has Candy-O on it and the US one doesn't
  16. prob not going to make anybody happy half-assing the color vinyl orders the way it worked out. but, oh well. prob should've just stuck w/ putting them in randomly like back in the day.
  17. Not really adding anything to the conversation, but they named their band after a Jawbreaker song...
  18. i really got into ALL when Pummel came out and was really into the Chad ALL era and Everything Sux when it came out (the version recorded w/ Chad is cool too). Mass Nerder I also thought was really good when it came out. But Problematic was really meh and I was so super disappointed by how lazy and mediocre Cool to Be You seemed to me I was totally off it. I really enjoyed seeing the Descendents a ton of times on that Sux reunion tour for sure tho.
  19. oh yes there is and this is it. man, this record combined w/ Problematic soured me totally on the DescendALLs era, even the ones I had liked a lot (Pummel, Everything Sux, Mass Nerder). Actually, Descendents-ALL was never high on my list either. I never liked any of the ALL stuff until Chad w/ Breaking Things. I remember getting this and wanting to just toss the CD out of the car window. Something about this album gave me real visceral negative reaction. I still love Somery tho.
