But unlike the Red Fang bundle, this bundle has two different albums, so assuming you actually want the music and aren't just a variant-collecting nerd then the bundle has things you want.
As for the clear vinyl that Relapse has always done, it's no different than an album having a different variant for a record release show; it's a special version only available to a select number of people (in this case, Relapse employees). Relapse charges what they do for clear vinyl because they know there are people willing to pay that price, which goes straight to the label and not to some flipper on ebay. I have no sympathy for people who are "forced" to pay more for color vinyl because you're getting the same exact music in a color you probably already have other records in. Also, haze vinyl sounds like shit so you shouldn't buy it even if it's cheaper than other colors.

The trick is to order things you actually want/want to pay for.

Hah. Yeah, it does sound like feedbands doing this, eh? Maybe if I don't actually use decent punctuation and grammar my point will come across.
Imma real bro. facebook.com/codywfleetwood. I live in Austin, Tx. I fucking love vinyl. I'm also ok with feedbands as a company.
Oh well though. It's alright not to trust something like feedbands. I didn't at first.
What you need? A kiss to make this seem real? I'm going to smoke now.

plasma36 got a reaction from veggiecorecords in RSD 2013: Tell your stories and share what you bought here!
Made the mistake of going to Long in the Tooth first, ended up waiting in line for two hours and both of the exclusives I wanted were sold out. They had a copy of Neurosis's "Given to the Rising" for a decent price so I got that instead. They also had a copy of the Kyuss/QotSA split on vinyl, but I didn't get it because I wasn't sure if it was a bootleg (just checked and all vinyl copies are bootlegs).
Went wandering around the city and got
Double Dagger EP/DVD at AKA
Surfer Blood 7" at Repo
which was nice, because the only other RSD exclusive I wanted (Their/They're/There) isn't an exclusive at all.
The best records I got were at Sit & Spin (no surprise there):
Life Trap - "Solitary Confinement"
XXX Maniak/Throatplunger Slimewave split
Hatred Surge/Insect Warfare split
Sidetracked - "Just a Front" - half black/half white
Orchid/Pig Destroyer split on blue
Spent way too much money and my legs are tired, but that's the spirit of RSD.

Finally listened to the Rob Crow song and holy crap it rules so hard. In other news, I'm really annoyed that JN made glued jackets that are too small to fit the records.

plasma36 reacted to EmoVeganBoy in RFC signs Modern Baseball / PO: Sports repress
I actually like that they use twitter on ESPN and I like the fact that a lot of actors and athletes do their own tweeting. It gives average people like us the opportunity to communicate with them or at the very least hear what they have to say without having to get them on the phone or in studio or hear it secondhand. I feel like they are more real on twitter because they say what's actually on their mind and they aren't trying to cater to everyone 100% of the time because they feel some false sense of security behind their smartphones. Yea, it's strange to hear a sports news broadcaster mention twitter and a high profile athlete's tweets as news. But that's just as real as if they had gotten that athlete on the phone for their opinion, only it's more honest in my opinion because they tweet their honest thoughts not really thinking that it could be on Sportscenter the next day.
So really I think twitter has a lot more relevancy than we give it credit and that's why I like the Modern Baseball song. It feels weird to hear a song mention twitter and tweets and Facebook because maybe a part of us doesn't like how real it gets. We are used to songs being more abstract than that perhaps. But that's exactly what I like about it. It's real and it talks about something that is a real part of life now whether we like it or not. Twitter exists and it somehow has an impact on our lives if we choose to use it, which most of us do at least from time to time. And if it's not that then it's Facebook that consumes us.
Sorry for the rambling analysis haha. Queue up the Billy Madison "everyone in this room is now dumber" video post...

i have a copy of Bruce Springsteen - My Hometown and the cover of it has a welcome home note from a mother to her son. her son had apparently been overseas or something and was coming home for the holidays.
however, this is my favorite:

I see this copy of Led Zep II every time I go to the flea market. It's only $1, might as well just pick it up already.
