Thankful to see 2013 end. Thankful for new friends and my wife and son. I'm thankful that in a year where we were drifting apart my wife and I foind a way to reconnect. Thankful for professional highs. And despite all the sadness I'm thankful that I have so many folks in my life that I love that when they leave us I feel that tangible pain. Still glad to put 2013 in the rear view.

Me n my boy are gonna see santa tonight. I'm gonna ask the fat man himself where the hell my package is. All the photos are killing me.

The lights were off when I was trying, and I had a baby in one of my arms, so that might have been part of the problem.

Ok, so I still need to take a picture. I am in total awe. My SS knocked it out of the park. 
 
I opened the package and saw a Pedro the Lion slipmat and my day was made, and THEN I saw the signed 10x10 print numbered and signed by David Bazan. Then behind that was a poster of Arthur (MxPx side project) signed by the whole band. Then, on top of that, there were records. The first one I saw was the Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas album. Always a good choice - even when it isn't Christmas time. Then he also gave me Kevin Devine - Circle Gets the Square, Pedro the Lion - Winner's Never Quit (and we share a favorite track on this LP!) and  TW Walsh - Songs of Pain and Leisure. On top of that, there was also a Manchester Orchestra - I've Got Friends 7" which is awesome, they are a favorite of mine. Then there were a bunch of sweet stickers and a City & Colour button pack.
 
Based on the clues, I am guessing that my SS was seangj? You rule. Seriously, I'd be buddies with you on music taste alone!

I'm getting pretty excited for mine to arrive. I've been told by Mike that a letter has been sent out and not to open my SS gift until the letter arrives. Intriuging!

Caught the same bands you did plus cobra skulls doing sitting army and off with their heads. Such a good time.

I think there were 3 last year. I took a few empty mailers with me and took my vinyl in my carry on.

Today's the day! In Tampa at least. Catch up with you guys on Sunday.

gonna do that tomorrow when i get home. tonight i'm packing and getting everything ready, tomorrow is just music listening and planning.
 
i truly have been so many times that most of the bands i've seen. wanna be amazed by new bands this year.
