Just playing devil's advocate here because I don't really care about this concern BUT "the action of advertising goods which are an apparent bargain, with the intention of substituting inferior goods. Some might perceive a /500 variant as inferior to a /250 one...and actually may not have bought any/as many. Most likely these people are concerned because they want to flip.

I never cared about this band but I LOVED "Come Winter" and downloaded it off of Myspace back in the day.

There was also the part where he was still pressing things (because he got the licensing) even after the actual band that created the album requested he not do it. A lot of people predictably backed the bands and sort of boycotted ETR. It seems like he backed off on 1 or 2 and I haven't heard about this issue since.
