The debate about his intentions are shocking: He took nothing but dollar bin shit that is at least 30 years old and passed it off as something anyone would buy. They are all $1.99 records for a reason - no one will pay shit for them.
 
Put it plain: this was a scam to take advantage of the sudden popularity in Vinyl. There is no debate, this guy is an asshole and I hope he is lurking to read this. 

Explains the cheap records. Buying reviews and postive social mentions can be costly. 

I like how the actual VNYL record store sells new records, but their subscribers only get pure junk.
 
Nick Alt, if you're lurking (and there's a pretty good chance that you are), here's a free idea: Every package from here on out should have one new, modern record accompanied by two old used records that somehow fit the same #vibe. Like, something THIS SIMPLE wouldn't cut into your profit margin a ton and would also make customers feel like they're actually getting something worthwhile, instead of mailing thrift-store records across the country just to be taken to another thrift store.
 
So, like, if someone picks "#danceparty" or whatever, send them the new Mark Ronson record with Bruno Mars on it, then some random-ass Stevie Wonder and Lionel Richie records too. BOOM. DONE. Your customer is stoked and you cleaned out your dollar bin.

Did anyone on here actually back this? What were people expecting? Short of sourcing wholesale exclusives lots from labels this was always going to be total garbage. I do however feel for the cat that got the Dan Fogelberg record - no one should suffer the shock of finding that shit in their home. 

Ran the 400m in 63 seconds. My wife and I both think it was closer to 61, but whatever. I won my heat too, which was pretty cool. Now looking forward to the Peachtree Road Race on July 4 (the largest 10k in the big whole wide world). 

Ran my first 5k this weekend. Finished in 26:29, which is right around my 9 minute mile pace i've been running in training. Nothing amazing, but i was happy with my performance. Definitely enjoyed the race and am looking forward to doing more very soon.

Also, thank you guys for the advice to rest before the half! I skipped 2 runs and took 5 days total off. I came back last week to do 3 runs (2-3 miles) without any pain at all. Ran the half yesterday and felt great! I ran it in 1:44:01 (a 7:56 pace) which is a PR for me. Also, I paid attention to running the tangents and ran 13.17 miles, so thanks for that advice as well!
 
I'm pretty confident I wouldn't have been able to run this well without those pieces of advice, you guys are awesome.

As the dude that started it i will repeat some past statements. I am an actively practicing Christian. I find in your face tossing of my faith to be obnoxious. That's me. He expresses his differently. I don't like it. There is no bigotry. No one said he couldn't make this album, no one said you couldn't buy it. Everyone always knew Thrice had religious tones. I find the song titles this time ridiculous and that opinion won't change. Nothing wrong with stating as much.

It was a real missed opportunity to not include a football with Moleman.

I studied up on strategy a bit. Four weeks ago in Philly I logged in at 13.32 in the course of the race. Today in NJ I logged 13.18. I cut my turns much cleaner, seeded myself better, simply put I ran a better race.

I took of again last night since I'm sore in the hip. I'll get loose tonight and tomorrow with short 5k runs leading into the half Sunday. Heeding my own advice.
