My issue with what happened in Ferguson is that violent protesting is never the answer. All it succeeds in is pushing good families out of the area, pushing those who are left further into poverty.
Detroit would have been FAR better off over the last 50 years if the race riots of the 1960s hadn't happened.

Nothing I specifically dislike about Mohawks but I do think it's ironic that people who try to show how different they are pretty much all dress the same

I think Brian's songwriting style was getting old but Alex's guitar never did.
This album has almost nothing that stands out from him and it's a bummer. Doesn't ruin it, but a bummer.

The giveaway for most bands with bad lyrics is that every line has the word "you" or "I" in it. People who can't write creative songs fall back to some kind of fake psuedoconversation that they are having with an ex or someone they hate. Great writers tell stories and paint pictures with lyrics, which although they also use simple pronouns (obviously), they don't rely on them as a crutch.
I could give plenty of examples if that wasn't clear.

I PERSONALLY agree with you. Its no way to raise a kid in my opinion, but thats just it, its fine line between child abuse and being stern. i think he unintentionally crossed it,
 
But i would not peg AD as a child abuser

The only part of his message that I really didn't care for was the line about "grasping at straws." I don't think it was grasping at straws to assume that he probably did something wrong in that elevator.
 
The general point he was making, though, isn't really wrong, even with the new video being released. If you give someone due process and then the evidence comes out that he did something really shitty, it doesn't mean you are wrong for withholding judgement.
 
She kinda charged at him, he decked her, and then it appears she either hit that rail or the side of the elevator pretty hard. It's not inconcievable that in that same situation, he could have pushed her back instead of swinging, she loses her balance and hits her head, and the rest unfolds. To me, those are two pretty different situations that would warrant different suspensions (mine being a 2 gamer, reality should have probably been 6+).
 
So I don't really think he should feel like an asshole. Someone who defends Ray Rice from today on should feel like an asshole.

Squatted for the first time in 6 months (maybe more). Quads are on fire with only 100 pounds (sets of 10, though). I had been doing some body-weight squats occasionally but it's just not the same effect. You get winded more than you tire your muscles out.
 
Was in a pretty bad place with back pain. Wasn't "give me bottles of vicodin and sign me up for back surgery" bad, but I was having trouble playing golf, had the moderate pain down my left leg, etc. Ability to squat was not my main concern at that point.
 
Think I got some benefit out of replacing my mattress (went from very soft pillowtop to a pretty stiff memory foam) but especially, bought an inversion table and use it for 10 minutes a day. Feeling 10x better. I'm gonna ramp up slow and have given up on the idea of the 1k pound squat-deadlift-bench (if I could comfortably do a 200x5 set of ass-to-the-ground squats, I'd be happy with it), but feeling great to take that first step towards a proper lifting program again.

For sure. I feel like it's teetering on the edge of being a shitstorm.
