  1. Every person I've spoken to who toured or interacted with him had a negative experience. Never forget this band almost broke up on their first full headlining US tour.
  2. They have a new thing where you have to pay for the "Route Protection" which costs $0.98 and they say they'll replace it (I'm assuming depending on the availability of them item) but some companies now (pretty sure MerchNow is included) might make you check a box with a statement that if you don't agree to purchase the protection they're absolved from the damage. Try their customer service but they're not very helpful and you're probably facing and uphill battle which you might need to file a Paypal claim.
  3. He confused your label name from Last Rights Records to Last Minute Miracle. ...I kid but that sucks with any PayPal disputes now. Shit's fucked we just have to wait.
  4. Uh-oh, we've reached the BACK IN MY DAY point of the thread. (oldmanyellsatcloud.gif) This thread is older and dates back before the pandemic. Some noobs are having a real hard time waiting for the mail. Others (like me) are speaking more objectively. And a lot of us were here in April/May when records were taking up to 2 months to ship. I mean just quote some people if it bothers you. Most have been relatively understanding of the situation. A lot of the posts here actually have relevant information, although no doubt some people have been over the top complaining and yeah its LOLworthy. I will say I mailordered CDs back in the day as well and you'd send the money and you were lucky if the item didn't show up via passenger pigeon (/sarcasm) but let's be real its not 1997 anymore and people don't go to the Post Office anymore to get money orders to then send to Dischord, Lookout, and No Idea. Clearly the PO is underfunded and much of the frustration has to do with that (which is a real issue btw) than people we think are slacking during a pandemic. Please read objectively. Someone somewhere is still jamming to lost CDs that never showed up to me back in 2002.
  5. I got that alert once before, but then it was sorted out somehow (although it was delivery related.) It was a package i sent to someone last month. Give it 24-48 hours before you really panic. Also records coming in and out of NYC via Jersey City is a lottery system. Some packages I shipped got to other people within 7 days. Some took 8 days to scan to the sort facility. Some have not scanned after almost two weeks. As for stuff coming to me. USPS has decided to give me max 1 package a day when I have almost 10 packages coming to me through Jersey City. We'll see what shows up tomorrow. LOL.
  6. Best one I've seen this holiday season. Shortest set list, but really entertaining. Only thing is the stream even with the playback was wonky, but definitely worth it. Buy one if you get the chance!
  7. So according to NYC Test + Trace, everyone a my school site is supposed to quarantine because we were exposed to a therapist who met with everyone and later tested positive. This is why my union had to fight harder to stay remote in the first place, to avoid shit like this. I got tested yesterday and expect negative results as my exposure was limited, and I wear a respirator mask and shield at work. Ridiculous that we opened back up in the first place.
  8. Yeah mine showed up last week. Honestly forgot I ordered these so that was a pleasant surprise!
  9. That I’m aware of. While I don’t think downloads are utilized like they used to be, Dropcards are the worst. That said, there are people who still use it, and options like Bandcamp are 1000% better as people could download the format of their choice or choose fob or download it and still stream with it. Much more desirable honestly and even labels like B9 and Dischord have really started to embrace it.
  10. If it was WAV files yeah I get it but there are several platforms that you could control what file size. Bandcamp is one and there are a few others where you could choose as well.
  11. People should just pay for streams if they want to watch/support the bands they like because they have ZERO touring income right now. That's where they really make their money, and the pandemic has stopped that. You don't have to feel obligated to get every stream. Pick and choose wisely. Other than that EVERY band that can stream should do so and make as much as they can. For some of them the band was their full time job. Support them and venues they stream from as much as you can or there won't be much left when this is all over.
  12. That jacket tho. I mean $120 for that and the jacket is why it's still available...
  13. Thanks man. They look great! Might pick them up next Bandcamp Friday unless there's sale before then.
  14. Any pictures of the new pressings as well. Deciding if I actually want to spring for these.
  15. Anyone else get a poorly folded screened cover from Merch Direct?
  16. Citywide. There aren’t too many cases in schools because only 25%-35% in the system are showing uo in person anyway.
  17. So Union Berlin it is! 😂 And I’m pretty sure I hit up Bis aufs Messer! Got a lot of crustpunk there and and older crustpunk running it right? If so that place was dope!
  18. HHV? Coretex? Anyway I was in Berlin in 2017 and I don't know if HHV was around then but when its safe to travel again I'm making it a point to go to HHV, go back to Coretex, and to see a Bundesliga game.
  19. NYC schools are likely to go full remote on Monday. Positivity rate is almost 3%, which is the threshold that the mayor agreed with out union to go remote.
  20. Stoked. Wished the PO was up on Bandcamp Friday (today) but still stoked nonetheless.
