  1. I've got a sealed 180 gm Nighthawks on black if anyone is interested. U.S. only $24 shipped. PM me.
  2. I'm actually surprised the blue/gold hasn't sold out yet. It is Mastodon and 500 really isn't that high taking into account actual fans and the flippers.
  3. I thought the Hookers was only on pink or black? I'm pretty sure those are the two I have.
  4. Goddamnit! Would have much rather bought it from the Sheath. Oh well, sticking with one copy on this.
  5. Not bad. Definitely interested in hearing this stuff without people babbling in the background. People who won't shut up at shows suck.
  6. Here's a link to pics of the map that they cut up for the demo tour covers. They are printed on paper grocery bag type paper. http://23in.com/toucheamore/_releases/demo.html
  7. Yeah, that shipping is crap, but I had to pay it. Thanks for the link.
  8. Don't forget these: TA Demo 7" SPRING TOUR COVERS Cut from a larger 28"x56" silkscreened map 5 per city / 10 cities Fifty of this edition total. I have two of the 10 cities. No hope to get them all.
  9. Hey Sec, Thanks for doing this again! I'm going for something different: I pulled into Nazareth, was feelin' about half past dead I just need some place where I can lay my head "Hey, mister, can you tell me where a man might find a bed?" He just grinned and shook my hand, "no" was all he said http://www.amazon.com/Music-From-Big-Pink-Vinyl/dp/B001ET5WU4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1389070458&sr=8-2&keywords=the+band+vinyl
  10. Nope. I like Reports, but Martyrdom of a Catastrophist is far superior. Especially when they play the songs live, fuckin' crazy good.
  11. I didn't realize it was the same "High Hopes" by the Havalinas. They were a great underappreciated band. I also think their version is a little better. http://youtu.be/-V65TfaiYaw
  12. Thanks for the heads up. The site seems a little screwy. After I checked out I clicked on check status and I got all the info for another person's order. So, Candice in Texas your info is safe with me, but I wonder if someone else got my info.
  13. I guess the "best" was the Indiegogo by Graveface Records which was essentially a way for you to pay ebay prices for records directly to the label. I bought more than I needed, but I viewed it as a purchase and not as a handout. Every other crowd funding bullshit that I have supported has been either a pain in the ass or a bust. I'm just so goddamned tired of this digital begging. At least the guy trying to get change from you in front of the store is someone who really needs it, whether it's for food, booze, or dope. These Kickstarter/Indiegogo campaigns are usually the result of laziness or impatience. I've pledged to strangers and friends in the past. Now, I am pretty much giving the finger to anyone who asks. I'd rather give the money to a homeless person.
  14. I doubt anyone who grew up listening to the original KISS would feel that later incarnations of the band are truly KISS. It has nothing to do with technical proficiency, it's the original members and what they brought to the band creatively. Paul, Ace, Gene, and Peter will be the only KISS for most old people. I do think it's great that kids are still even interested in the band.
  15. KISS has ALWAYS been a "huge marketing ploy". Ever since the 70's when they pushed all boundaries for merch. I had KISS posters on my walls and even ceiling, trading cards, shirts, dolls, etc... They had their own movie and even appeared on a Paul Lind Christmas special. If you don't like 70's KISS, then you don't like KISS. That is KISS. WTF?
  16. One candy cane and a tiny rubber croissant or possibly an orange alien ninja turd? I also got this cool book with a record inside. Score!
  17. Many bands I like came out with just ok albums this year. Here is my top 10 list, not in any order: 1. Hollow Sunshine- Held Above 2. Pyres- Year Of Sleep 3. Mammoth Grinder- Underworlds 4. Set And Setting- Equanimity 5. Restorations- LP2 6. Black Clouds- Everything Is Not Going To Be Ok 7. Fuzz- S/T 8. Pearl Jam- Lightening Bolt 9. The National- Trouble Will Find Me 10. Chelsea Wolfe- Pain Is Beauty
  18. Got my Sevens box today. They're mixed set of record colors, some are black, clear, and transparent red/fuschia. Also came with a booklet.
  19. I remember when Mansions' "Dig Up The Dead" was around for a long time before selling out. Now people are falling over themselves to get a copy. If you sleep on buying this record, history will repeat itself. This is strangely under the radar and yet an amazing record. I'm getting out of the variant stupidness, but would probably buy represses of this if the color was cool or even 180 gram.
