Highly recommend starting with "County Line" or "Black River Gospel"
 
Not a huge fan of picture discs, but this record is way too good to pass up.  It actually came out over a year ago.  Glad that it finally got pressed in some fashion.

Back and forth...forever

And not going to lie, I was expecting an epic pair of titties or something that deemed worthy of it's own thread when I clicked on this.

Greyhound from NJ to Chicago. Got there and she was sleeping with my friend. Slept in the hotel gym for three nights then hitched a random ride back to Gainesville. 
 
I can't even count up the hours. I was crushed. I survived. I met other people. I'm happy now. I don't regret it though - you can't force love but it takes some risk and sacrifice most of the time.
 
Better to know than to wonder what might have been.

I think buying records and not listening to them is more practical than buying digital music. I think buying digital music is absurd. I want a physical copy of my music.

Picked up this George Jones record at a local record store yesterday.  It fucking rules.  Just seeing if anybody else is into old country records, and if so if you have any suggestions on other artists I could check out.

Looks like a scene straight out of The Village.

Old country kicks ass.  New country sucks ass.
 
Also I forgot what a ridiculous flattop George Jones used to have.  He should have joined Kid 'n Play
