What were the first albums you bought for yourself / asked for gift when you were getting into music??? I imagine that most people here bought CD's first - but if your first purchases really were cassettes or vinyl, put those! this is also really hard, since I'm sure I'm forgetting earlier purchases for the ones I remember distinctively listening to a lot. note: that now cd your older sibling jammed to and you sometimes borrowed to listen to does not count! to not being able to get something FLAC - is it not on wcd? I have no idea where someone would go to look for FLAC if they didn't have an account. i don't personally listen to FLAC at all cause I can't hear a difference unless i wear headphones and take my hearing aids out

i've moved twice and packed my records in i believe the standard uhaul box. Records fit perfectly in them, and the first time i moved i was very cautious with the number of records I put in. The second time though, I put two mailers on each side to act as extra cushioning and filled them pretty well. Without the records easily moving back and forth, they were snug and none were damaged. Granted, I only had to drive 20 minutes away the second time so I was a little less cautious. I think I needed like 7 boxes for all of my records, and I have close to 150? lps or more. i dunno.

I think I received mine in the mail, but the return address said secretly group. I'm gonna hold off till christmas regardless, baby! 2nd year in a row i'll actually have a christmas gift to open hell yeaaaa
