  1. I only ever took notice of S1D when the Suicide Machines signed with them, so the lack of their mention, as well as the lack of emotion for any band represented, I'm not intrigued. Plus, Restorations should have been a slam dunk for this, if not for incredible music, then for fantastic album covers.
  2. This is incredibly true, but the way this board has shifted lately, no one will give a single fuck. I'm prepared to be the last comment in this thread.
  3. Can't wait for this and Roger's LP to show up. I've held off on listening to either album until I get them. Hear nothing but good things though!
  4. Unbelievably excited for this. Was going to post it, but didn't want to do so on mobile. Anticipating this release incredibly, as PMP is a phenomenal album, and the first track from this is great. Really, really nice guys, and label to boot. And no four month pre-order!
  5. More test press copies up, as well as black screen printed copies. Stoked for this to arrive. Closest thing to Strike Anywhere I can get these days.
  6. 100% defunct. Has been for quite some time now. Shame as they had a knack for talent
  7. I love Grandaddy, so I'm really curious to see what this is all about. Thanks for the heads up.
  8. I would to get one of these. I lived about a mile away from the Turf Club way back when and spent many a night within those walls.
  9. Rad Girlfriend did the same thing with their Pretty Boy Thorson 7" single series. Promised a series of three releases, with a sub version /100 for the first two, then an exclusive third 7" for those who subscribed. They released the first two, minus any sub versions, and erased any public mention of the series throughout their outlets. No third release and no response to countless inquiries. Bit of a bummer. Communication is such a simple thing.
  10. I've had luck just sticking a warped record in the middle of a shelf full of records and forgetting about it for a period of time. It wasn't a terrible warp, just a bit of torque to it. I personally wouldn't want to involve heat at all.
  11. Whoops. All fixed. Throw me another message if you'd like. Sorry about that.
  12. I had a blue one in my cart, but I waffled over it for a couple minutes. For the better in my case. Love these guys, but I can't begin the quest for all their shit.
  13. Oh I listened to this a looong time ago, when it was released, because I had a huge crush on Nicole Eggert. I still hold to my opinion. To each their own, though.
  14. Something about actually caring about an artist and listening to what they have to write/sing. May appear to be filtered through some machine, but at the end of the day, it's still them putting themselves into it. Jawbreaker and AM! Seem to be pretty apparent representations of that. I have yet to read a comment about someone saying they have given up or disowned either one of these groups. It's a testament, I believe, to what they can actually do. The people that bitch are still technically fans of them. They're fantastic artists.
  15. If I decided to record an album, I think my shitty voice would be pretty well on par with Mark McGrath's. I'm about as tone deaf as he is. Bundle this garbage like they do at walmart with four movies on one DVD: stick a Smash Mouth album with this, Sister Hazel, and Dog's Eye View. Some people will truly be happy to see this combo, and it will save them the trouble of having to track down each gem individually.
