  1. I'm a creature of habit so I'm not leaving DF. Discogs is great for pressing info\buying and selling, but for simple list keeping, dead format is all I need.
  2. I second the love for Kutchma/Red Collar. Welcome Home is an amazing album, as is his solo work. Restorations is a score as well. Really can't go wrong with this grab bag. You're going to come out a winner no matter what.
  3. If only I didn't have everything I want from you guys. One of the overall best labels out there.
  4. That's exactly what I was looking for, thank you! And good luck with your hunt for the last piece(s)!Have you ever found any info regarding numbers for the original test pressing? Doghouse isn't exactly top tier when it comes to responding to inquiries. I'm assuming at least /20, which seems weird for such an early release from them.
  5. Yeah, I'm curious what the subsequent reissues/remaster' etchings are. Although apparently not curious enough to check out discogs, or ask around.
  6. In this vein, Shinobu(https://shinobu.bandcamp.com/album/10-thermidor) put out an awesome album this year. If you like that, check out Worstward Ho, and Mike Hugeonor's other band, Hard Girls(who put out last year's best record). Mike also played guitar/sang on Dan Andriano's latest solo album. I absolutely love everything about these guys.
  7. Someday I'll reach that point of organization. I think I'm afraid of being more put together regarding my record collection than I am my professional/home management. So until then I'll continue to float along hoping for still waters in both divisions. Organized chaos. And sorry about the horrible formatting regarding quoted material and original. I gave up after ten minutes trying to make it happen on a kindle fire.
  8. I used to work at Cheapo records in Uptown MPLS, 2003-ish. Working on mixing the day's three shopping carts worth of used cds into stock when Prince and his then wife walked in and browsed for a good half hour. Got to ring him up and everything. He is very tiny. Other than that, I always worked the closing shift(4-midnight), so there was always fucking drunk idiots trying to sell obviously stolen music/movies. Didn't pay for music for as long as I worked there, though. Almost made up for the 6.50/hr.
  9. I wanted to like that Red Owls ep, as I really enjoy Nightmares For A Week, but it was way too much on the poppy side for me.
  10. In my head right now: Slow Gherkin - Shed Some Skin Neil Young - Time Fades Away Soul Coughing - El Oso Tom Waits - Rain Dogs Pixies - Doolittle Hold Steady - Almost Killed Me Screeching Weasel - My Brain Hurts Hard Girls - A Thousand Surfaces Haley Bonar - The Size Of Planets Fifteen - Swain's First Bike Ride
  11. I'm shocked he made it as far as he did. Sad, nonetheless.
  12. Today's Special, Under The Umbrella Tree, Square One TV. All shows I'm fine never coming across in my adult life. A-ok tucked deep in my childhood memory.
  13. This album is killer. They also repressed Slow Gherkin's Shed Some Skin. That's one of my all-time favorite albums. And Sing Along With Skankin Pickle. Great set of reissues.
  14. What I came to say. Having seen Neil Young, as well as the Pixies, Tom is the only one I truly, truly want to see live.
  15. The Man Who Wasn't There Dumb And Dumber Basquiat American Movie Super Troopers It's A Wonderful Life Fargo Slapshot Dirty Work Leaving Las Vegas
