  1. I'm beginning to think I may be the only person who really could not care less what shape a jacket comes in, as long as the record is good to go.
  2. Awesome news! I love these Gus and have all their other cassettes. Hadn't thought about them in a while, so this is great! Definitely wil be grabbing
  3. I'm about halfway through 'The Devil In The White City'. Absolutely fantastic read.
  4. http://www.quoteunquoterecords.com/qur084.htm Up for free download\donation. Probably my favorite group going right now, so this news made my week. Plus writing for a new album is underway.
  5. That just read as one of the smuggiest smug posts I've ever come across. You come right into a new setting and basically say, 'hey all you dumb fucks, you all listen to what I personally call trash, right?' I'd love to be a fly on the wall when you're trying to pick up women. You certainly are the type of person who knows no strangers. I think it's your jovial, lighthearted demeanor that's so attractive.
  6. Finally something I can get excited about around here. Cannot wait to hear this.
  7. Yeah, that was my first reaction as well. I'm pretty in tune with monitoring my credit reports, and keeping tabs on all my stuff, and nothing seems fishy. It's really odd. Some of the answers are really close to being correct. The 'which county have you lived in within the last ten years' includes one that is the next county over from me. One of those things where I don't even know who to contact to figure out what's going on.
  8. Shit, I totally forgot about the Top Bunk 7". Picking that up right now.
  9. I can't get myUSPS account up and running. They have those questions to verify your identity(what county have you lived in, what make car have you owned), but absolutely none of them concern me. I click 'none of the above' for all of them, then get locked out of trying again for a few days. I don't even know who to talk to in order to remedy it.
  10. Yep, through that address. Took a good minute for them to respond, though. 'We think that 30 were made. Thanks. Emily'. Was the exact response regarding the original test press.
  11. Packed in a record mailer? Was is delivered split open? Did you request pics?
  12. Hmmm Three Man Cannon - Will I Know You Then Titus Andronicus - The Most Lamentable Tragedy Underground Railroad To Candy land - The People Are Home Night Birds - Mutiny At Muscle Beach Red City Radio -ST Winter Break - ST Shellshag - Why'd I Have To Get So High? Shinobu - 10 Thermidor Low - Ones and Sixes Dan Andriano In The Emergency Room - Party Adjacent
  13. Fairly certain No Idea runs the ADD Records type of variant game: order X number of a release on random color vinyl(leftover pellets/goulash) and try to break down that overall pressing into definable categories based on shades of spew in each record. Obviously not true for each specific release, but, when you see so many variants referred to as some sort of idea of mustard yellow, or fifteen plays on the word purple, it starts to get obvious. I highlight the 'NOT TRUE FOR EACH SPECIFIC RELEASE' I'm just saying that some variant games are horribly warbled. This is specifically for the people who think they do need 20 copies of the same record
  14. I bought this simply for the remastered album. Outside of O'Pioneers!! 'Black Mambas', these first few HWM albums were ones I really wouldn't have minded hearing cleaned up versions of. I'm not a stickler for overall production value, but these have always stuck out for me
  15. Test press for Neil Young's 'Time Fades Away'. Close second would be Pixies test press for the original press of Doolittle
  16. That does look like an original test. Finally heard from Doghouse, and they're saying those are /30. Should probably let that lister know
  17. Jane's Addiction - Ripple I really don't know which version I like better, the original or this one https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eRtDImn9fLc
  18. Your real hate should lie with The Monkees. They were a huge influence on the Beatles.
  19. Listen to their whole discography. Every album, every 7" is amazing.
