  1. I actually feel somewhat the opposite but I don't have any grand expectations for the show either. Its definitely lacking in the character development department. They could kill off any of the main characters and I wouldn't even care. Them being out on the ocean and travelling outside of their general location kind of separates it for me.
  2. I feel like song isn't that far removed from where they were heading with beggars and major/minor. People are so reactionary. I suppose if you were expecting them to return with the illusion of safety pt. 2 I can see where the disappointment is but that kind of thinking is really naive since they've been on a pretty clear trajectory when it comes to songwriting since vheissu.
  3. Metal blade has never exactly sold cheap records. See BTBAM, black dahlia murder, etc. I'm not sure what people are surprised about here. Id describe the cover as pretty standard fare for a post rock band. In anycase, being on a board full of people who are generally about "listening to the music" I find such heavy criticism of artwork or font choices to be somewhat hypocritical. If this was a design nerd forum - sure, fine. I'm gonna assume people don't like the price so they're just looking for anything to take a jab at. If this was a $15 2xlp (ala temporary residence), I'd bet nobody would even bat an eye lash at the cover.
  4. chuck is the skyler of BCS. has the moral compass that their counterpart does not but drives you absolutely crazy.
  5. Theres such a stark difference in writing quality between these two shows. I still really enjoy TWD and i recognize the tone of the show is very different but vince gilligan makes scott gimple look like a complete joke when it comes to character development and story pacing.
  6. vince gilligan pretty much confirmed (without actually saying it) on talking saul that gus and/or people that work for gus will be involved in season 3. my guess would be its related to that.
  7. was pretty happy with the finale. id say vince gilligan pretty much confirmed were gonna see gus in season 3 on talking saul... or somebody that works for him at least. really happy with what they'v done with this show.
  8. Thinning out the collection of duplicates or stuff I just don't listen to anymore. All prices are postage paid in the USA (and I prefer usa buyers). I ship everything in cardboard record mailers with usps delivery confirmation (I print paypal labels so you will get an email directly from them). Offers i simply cant refuse are welcome. Pm me if you're interested. I will cut fair deals on multi-record purchases. Thanks! 9. I made this my lone RSD purchase for 2016 and ironically enough I didn't even physically go to a record store to get it. Kudos to graveface for not making this thing needlessly impossible to find.
  10. So dumb. He clearly knows ebay prices. Just put the fuckin' record on ebay and be done with it.
  11. Given this a solid 5 spins. It's pretty good. Don't know if I like it better than GOE but I like the 90s influence. Curse of the sun is total hum worship.
  12. That's ok because I give his reviews a 4/10. He's mastered the art of "saying a lot when I'm saying nothing at all."
  13. Not sure I like that track more than anything from AAL. Will probably pick this up eventually though.
  14. they totally dropped the ball on the reverse press unless side A is actually side B and vice versa.
  15. this record really hammers home how much i cant get into any julie christmas-related project.
  16. dont think he'll die from this but maybe. i think jimmy will rush in because nobody in the copy shop is thinking to call 911 and thus implicating him in doctoring the documents (because why else would he be there). where it goes from there is anyones guess. would love to see gus but also doubt that will happen this season. could definitely see it happening in season 3 though. my guess is were going to find out that mike does something to tio that, as a complication of his recovery, causes his stroke. this show is really, really well done and i think this season has stepped it up big time over season 1. love the BB easter eggs (like the investment manager that jimmy and kim swindle for drinks being the guy who gets his car destroyed by walt at the gas station). even though its "sauls show" im actually way more into mikes arc. what i really love though is that you can tell at some point all these characters stories are going to dovetail in some way.
  17. There's a part in Pittura where that song starts to soar a bit. I don't dislike it. If I had to pick a least favorite it's probably xenon. The chorus is great and abes drumming is cool but that intro/verse riff is waaay too basic.
