  1. i remember seeing tweets some years back from adam jokingly asking brian fallon to "let him be in his band." anyway, these songs are alright. i dont really think they totally sound like TGA though.
  2. every time i look at that artwork all i can think is.... static-x - wisconsin death trip.
  3. if i had a choice, this record wouldnt be on white but whatever - i ordered it.
  4. i preordered the record months ago but i also listened to the leak. i like it - its heavy. the interludes dont add much for me. death is a living partner / synthetic sun are the highlights of the record in my opinion. going to reserve judgment on where it stacks up against other NJ records till ive had a chance to let it sink in fully. looking forward to watching the documentary but havent seen a link for it yet.
  5. I don't think theres anything unreasonable about any band breakup. I think its probably for the better since the new songs werent good anyway. Between his on-stage meltdown and Facebook responses to fans, something just seems off with the guy though.
  6. song is a lot better than i expected but that artwork is terrible.
  7. yeah, the guy legitimately seems like hes got some issues that are going unchecked.
  8. with NJ you could maybe argue that lineup changes hurt peoples perspective of the band (not to suggest thats fair since NJ is still writing pretty decent music). nobody from the bless the martyr days is left though and only cory is left from the o'god - meriodional era. chris day seemed to just disappear shortly after wrongdoers came out. ETID has had lineup changes too but the core of the band has remained consistent (plus jordon and andy are riff machines).
  9. i like the end of the song but the first half kind of feels like a not-so-good attempt at sounding like the national or something. definitely my least favorite of the 3 tracks released so far.

  11. i got a shipping confirmation from procrastinate this morning for all 3 records i bought (IAAN 12", mene 7", demos 10").
  12. i like the song better than anything theyve done in well over a decade. i just really hate how they play up every punk cliche imaginable in their visuals. and the eyeliner... jesus christ.
  13. whaddya expect? theyve been playing up every single visual punk rock cliche they can think of since american idiot.
  14. musically, it makes a lot of sense. everything coalesce did ruled. as an outsider looking in, you just never really know how certain bands may feel about other bands theyve influenced (ie. botch cracking jokes about o'god the aftermath).
  15. whenever i listen to RW, i always think "this is pretty good" but i never find myself going out of my way to go back to that record. its a good listen-through but its just not as memorable.
  16. like everything ive been hearing off this record. kinda surprised to see sean ingram on a norma jean song but its cool.

  18. odd considering the original LP has it. anyway, i just assumed eulogy wouldnt let 'em have it. lol.
  19. i feel like calla is the heaviest track on the record, not vorel.
