definitely not an argument by any means, I think it was two awesome dudes trying to make more funnies, if anything we were both setting each other up to make even funnier jokes off of one another.  that my friends, is the anti-argument.

Despite what dating sites would like you to believe, the number one place most people meet their spouse is still work / school (saw it on one of those yahoo front page stories). You just gotta do it right. You really like the girl (assuming you are a guy) or is it casual? I wouldn't recommend a pump and dump. Not worth causing workplace drama.

At my work they're trying to get rid of a bunch of display models for super cheap, so I couldn't pass up a crazy-ass deal on this bad boy. I've always wanted a tele ever since I started playing and this was my Wayne's World "she will be mine" moment.
 

 

 
It had been in the store for at least 5 years, and had a lot of a little chips on some of the metal frets that made bending the strings around the octave really fucked up.  So I had to get the frets leveled and crowned at a repair shop in LA, which came out amazing:  
 

 

 
It's basically better than it would have been brand new out the factory.  And even after the cost of the repair it was a steal, couldn't be happier about it

So not having sex with this girl is getting really really tough, but man oh man is it gonna be worth it.  Over the last year I've slept with more girls than I'm stoked to admit, and they were all just drunken flings, there was nothing of actual substance or emotion.  Pretty sure I'm in love with this girl, so that's pretty rad.  Sorry to cheese out the thread.  

Reasons to re-issue Kenny Rogers (and anything else you can find in a bargain bin):
 - Most people don't go digging through crates for used records
 - Kenny Rogers fans have disposable income
 - Labels need to make money to stay in business
 - Labels don't make any money off of bargain bin/used records
 - If you want the record, it's easier by a longshot to order the re-issue on Amazon than it is to find a used copy in a record store. That actually involves leaving your house.
 - Most people in general don't buy used when there is a new option available
 - A majority of newer collectors are doing it more as a hobby - ie they want their shit in perfect condition. Not a beat up used copy.
 - Labels milk their cash cows for everything they are worth, so they can re-invest in newer acts (ideally) or offset losses incurred by putting out newer acts
 - They know people will buy it
 - It was a RSD release, made specifically to get people to go into a store and pick it up. A bargain bin record won't bring anybody new into a record store.
 
Yes, it's a cash grab. But it's the music business. Everything is a cash grab at the major level.

There's a few of you that "get it".
People were abusing the codes like crazy to buy vinyl. Mainly due to this message board. Of course that wasnt going to last forever.
Vinyl has been removed from the Hot Cash promotions going forward. 
 
I haven't been posting here as much just cause my workload has greatly increased lately at the office so I just dont have the time to be on here as much as I was. I still read most stuff on the board, I'm not "hiding" from anything going on here. I just dont feel the need to comment every time someone says something about HT.
 
You all got some great deals for a while but those crazy sales have ended. There will still be plenty of rad HT vinyl exclusives coming, you're just gonna have to pay full price for them now!  Crazy, I know...
